| Crowded lots of activity

By user-6571835... on 2017-10-23.

This is quite the resort, with restaurants, coffee shop, fruit stand, train rides etc. Glad we stopped the bakery is wonderful. The downside is lots of noise and kids. Bathrooms were best to stay out of. Lots of people in office complaining about no water or electric at their sites. Most of the RVs are parked on asphalt and packed like sardines.

| Very pricy

Extra charges were a big surprise. The base rate is $40/night another $5 if you want one of the 2 50 amp sites, $3/dog/night with no fenced dog run and others we didn't need. Cable TV has limited channels. The sites are very tight with our drivers side slide out up against a tree with a few inches to go. On the passenger side the steps went under the picnic table. Doesn't seem to have a seasonal rate. On the good side the wifi is fast and accessible the staff is pleasant and there are many peripheral amenities

| Fresh Fruit and fun for kids!

I love this place. Lots of shade, pretty, nice pool, fun carousel and train and ice cream store (and wine store with wine tasting!) and a pretty good cafe. It is a destination since there is nothing else around it. We come here once in awhile and this time we were there while the Hollister Motorcycle Run was happening. The desk staff informed us that it would be loud and there were no refunds and they had hired security which turned out to be unnecessary. Probably 200 bikes were there and people rolled out in the morning and it was very cool to see the bikes all lined up and ready to ride. With the peacocks running around and the train and the fruit stand and the wine and cheese, my whole family gives this an A+! The only downfall is you are definitely parked in a parking lot although there are many trees to park next to. The grassy area is by the tents. The showers were good--some with rainfall shower heads and some needing attention but they were clean and easy to access. The biggest downfall is there is only one restaurant and they have a limited menu. Food was good--it's like a Denny's with better tasting food--so if you come here, buy your non-produce groceries first. The primary reason to come here for us is the produce and making fresh fruit salad and fresh veggies. I don't think they sell any meat in their little store. This is definitely a family friendly place to be. Hope this helps!
