The one rating this park has ( five stars) had to have been entered by the park owner. We decided to stay at this park for two nights as it was near the location we needed. On the phone the desk said they had beautiful site on river. Arrived in our 36' 5th wheel only to find a park that had all perms except maybe three sites. All Rv's were under covered metal roofs. Junk piled everywhere . They forgot to mention they only had 30 amp. No cable, nothing received on tv ant and too many trees for satellite . Anyway, for some reason I still don't understand, we went ahead and paid our two day fees. Next day realized they are a Passport America park. Ask if they would adjust our fees and never would say yes or no. Left knowing they would not adjust. Bottom line this is a family enclave not well suited for outsiders and we will certainly never return.
We saw the pictures and the ratings and made reservations for this riverside campground. I don't know when the photos were made, but that was not the place we saw. I agree with the previous reviewer that there it was junky and RVs were crammed in like sardines. The buildings looked poorly maintained. We refused to stay there and gladly gave up our deposit so we could just go elsewhere. You have been warned.
Friendly family owned. Clean restrooms, showers and laundry facility. Beautiful creek along side the park. Play area if you have kids. We will go back!
