This is a private campground nestled in a small cove in Henry, Idaho, on Highway 34 between Soda Springs and Wayan. There are dry camp sites throughout, as well as 30 amp and 50 amp hookups, with sewer and water. We are ‘seasonal’ residents there and enjoy the small community environment and the excellent cooking available at the cafe on weekends. Quaint boat docks and slips with access to the Blackfoot Reservoir add to the overall rustic charm. There are kayaks and paddle boats available to rent as well as fishing access from the docks. Fourth of July activities, usually celebrated on the following Saturday, include special activities for children, a horse shoe tournament for adults, and fireworks and a community dance, after dark. This is a great stopover on the way to or from Jackson and Yellowstone on scenic highway 34. Or make it your destination stop for a relaxing few days or extended stay.
Nice place right on Blackfoot reservoir. Laurie is awesome.. spots are mostly grass, but not too bad. Great food on the weekends.
