| Nice state park campground

By user-5837510... on 2017-10-23.

$22-24 for clean, level Rv sites near lake. Clean bathrooms but showers are not warm. Great spot to stop if driving to/from Colorado. We had bikes and enjoyed using them on the quiet roads and paths. Incredible sunset. Lots of hawks and deer to admire.

| Well kept

By user-5855031... on 2017-10-23.

Some what out of the way, but worth the extra drive time to be away from highway and City lights. Reservoir wasn't close to where we stayed, so no view of the water. A few trees for shade, sites are large and level. Bathrooms could be updated, shower heads are weird and the water comes out like a power washer. Big playground, but there is no shade and it was 102° so didn't even take the kids to it.

| Huge pull through sites, nice park

By user-5892544... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2017-04-18 to 2017-04-19

We stayed in the wagon rut loop and arrived after dark. This loop has huge pull through sites and was easy to get in after dark. Site was level and hard packed gravel and was long enough to accommodate any size rig. Trees were well maintained and trimmed away from roads and site. Roads were paved in good condition. 30amp only at the site we stayed in which was fine for us but may not be for larger rigs running multiple A/C units. Rate was $24 for electric and water site plus the $5 per day vehicle fee for a total of $29. I think the full hook up sites we $2 more. We stayed on the north bluff which is the first part of the park you get to when you are coming in from I-70. Approx 15 miles south of I-70 and the road was well marked and no surprises driving after dark. Didn't use the park bathrooms or showers so I can't advise on those. Will stay again, nice and peaceful
