2 stars because the staff was courteous and professional, not impressed with the place, just a field of crushed gravel with railroad ties marking of the sites, 50 amp plugs six inches from the ground, why? Sounded really good on the phone, paid a little extra for a creekside spot, looked forward to sitting in my chair by the creek, backed in and there's four kids sitting around a campfire ring less than six feet from my stern, half a dozen big cabin tents between me and the creek, can't get there without walking through their campsites. I paid extra for this?? No way! Corporate greed, I really hate to be deceived, not recommended, I will never be back!
This is our second winter to spend here. The sites are large enough to have our 40 foot motor home plus a 22 foot enclosed trailer. The staff is friendly and make you feel welcome. It is just like coming home. There is a creek along side the camp ground that makes for nice sitting out for morning coffee. There is a small grocery store in Cave Springs and a great Mexican restaurant. Steve and Joey make you welcome. We really like staying here.
Beautiful campground, wi very spotty, baths below average. Staff nice, people friendly. La Cabana Mexican restaurant in Cave Spring mucho gusto
