| Mixed bag
Over 400 camp sites so obviously they are a popular place. We were looking for an overnight and found the sites overpriced. $9 entry for out of state and $30 for electric and water. Incredibly unlevel site. Dirt and mud. Rustic showers at best. Large family groups for the weekend seems to be the draw and they were having a great time
| 2018: Still a "Mixed Bag"
Like the review below, there are over 400 sites. Pros: They almost always have room during busy holidays. Picnic tables. Fire rings. Shaded RV spots. Hiking trails. Boat launch. Playgrounds for the kids. Bathrooms with showers. Electric 30/50 amp. Some sites Paved. Dump station on the way out is free to campers. Cons: So MANY people. So MANY MANY PEOPLE. Kids. Barking dogs. Most sites are still unlevel, muddy, with low hanging trees. No water at site. Restrooms are dirty (not enough bathhouses for the 1,000 people visiting), trails are busy. Pro tip: Avoid on weekends. Stay during the week. Much more manageable
