Reviews for Champagne Lakes RV Resort

| So very peaceful

We left a nearby, very highly rated park, because we knew from past experience that it would be way too noisy for our taste over New Year's Eve - in spite of their constantly patrolling security! This, our second stay at Champagne Lakes, was just what we hoped for. Very peaceful! We stayed in one of the upper, newer levels that provide roof mounted satellite TV clearance. While these sites are not nearly as attractive as the lower, older sites along the lakes, this is the area we prefer. And will return to. I highly recommend that you approach the park from the south to avoid making an unprotected left turn. Also, a quick study in commuter traffic will provide very easy access to both Temecula & Escondido.

We've been looking for a park 'less-lively' on the weekends in the Temecula area than where we usually stay. I'd read reviews that this park had been seriously renovated. It really has. We stayed in one of the upper levels. Full sun exposure (unlike the sites nestled in the valley) but also no satellite interference. In our area, parking was a bit tight for bigger, multi-slide units with an accompanying vehicle, but doable by moving the provided picnic table to the back corner of the concrete pad. At least in our area, the park was as peaceful as we seek. Might not be near the lakes where tent campers are provided waterfront sites along the catch & release oases. Cell phone reception is 1 bar, but provided Tengo internet was good. This is a beautiful facility that should be a model for what the state should be doing in it's parks. Don't think 10/10/10 RV's in a row like we gravitate towards. Think that concept hybridized with an oak studded state park. And full hook-ups.

We stayed here about seven years ago, it was very nice then. Since then there have been a lot of renovations, nice level concrete pads very quiet, very helpful and courteous staff everything you want in a motorhome park. Easy in and out for large rigs, with the park built around the lakes it is very scenic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here .

This is a great place that we will return to often. The short term sites in particular are awesome right up agains the man made lakes around the park.

No cell phone reception; Which makes it impossible to do business. Spots are great paved cement is nice. Tengointernet SUCKS!! Get free wifi!! KOA's even have free wifi. Its clean and the maintenance crew is quiet. The ducks and fishing are a plus. The Pool is freezing and in 80 degree weather the pool was being cleaned. Laundry is 1.50 for washers and dryers . I gave this resort 2 stars because there has been police around the park and just outside. We Stayed at sunland rv parks and campland in comparison this was by far the worst. Sunland rv resorts have amazing pools and hot tubs plus their staff is sooo amazing.
