The bike trails at this state park are wonderful. Good for all ages and abilities. View of river and plenty of wildlife.

RV camping in loop A is in tree area and is for smaller rigs.under 30 feet in most of the sites. Loop B is very nice but fills up first. Camp hosts were very nice. Check-in was simple. Bathrooms were just ok. No working dump station for the next 6 months.

We had just bought a new larger trailer, and wanted to take it out for its inaugural run. We live in the Portland Metro area so Champoeg park was a perfect choice.Online we discovered that there was no availability, but when we drove out in our car, we discovered that one loop was dedicated to first come first serve camping during the winter months (up until April 1. Even in the off-season they had plenty of staff on hand, and the park was well-kept. The reservation only section was full. And the yurts seemed like they were fully booked. Great bike trails and some amazing disc golf. A loop had only 30 amp and no sewer. They do have showers and separate bathroom if needed. The only reason why we did not give them five stars was because the dump stations were closed.
