| Nice quiet campground
We like this campground because it is quiet and out in the middle of nowhere. Nothing much for kids to do here but sure is nice for me being over 60. It is centrally located to several places we wanted to visit. Too far from a Wadhington DC visit so we will go to Fort Meade to visit there. They are working on upgrading a lot of spots from 30 to 50amp power here. Lot of spots are less than 30ft. I hope they upgrade to bigger cement or paved spots vice dirt and gravel. Nice showers and laundry. There is a nice swimming pool and small exchange and a nice gym down the street by car. I like it here and will return in the future.

Didn't know what to expect. Post is a training base with 76,000 acres of land but minimal base infrastructure due to the small cadre on had to manage the facility. Campground has recently been worked on. Parking spots were separated to give campers more space, updated power, water and sewer. Paved parking spots. Spots are fairly level, but any rain collects on the pavement and does not run into the grass because of poor grading. No cable and no wifi unless you are close to the washhouse and can intercept the small antenna for the building wifi. Don't plan on getting much on the wifi. If you're on the move and need a place to stay for the day, it's worth it. If you need anything, plan on leaving post to get it.
