10 miles off I-64. Typical Virginia rural road, curvy and hilly. Park in the woods, not real big rig friendly, but is close to Monticello.

Campground is 10 miles off of I64. If you are looking for an old fashion campground this is for you. It is out in the woods, roads and pads are gravel. Cell phone reception is poor, wifi & cable are poor. Lots of stuff for the kids. Nice quite place to get away from it all.

Open March 13 - November 8 (2015). $20 for dump and water, but that is cheaper than most in the area.

More looked a state park where I'm from (Oregon) with the trees and seclusion. Nice place with many amenities. Nice staff.

Total gravel very little grass. Bathroom real nice. Phone reception spotty. If in back absolutely no WiFi. Girl at desk not friendly verging on rude. No help with any questions are problems. She seemed more interested on watching computer scene.
