This rv park was great. The sites were not on top of one another like at KOA's. Has a great groomed walking trail. Was easy enough for my power wheelchair. The bathrooms were in excellent condition my whole stay (4nights). The river had the best kayaking I've seen. The springs were gorgeous. The staff was very friendly. Overall extremely pleased although cable hook up would have been nice during the afternoon showers we get in FLA.
This is a campground! Feels like you are in the woods. Full hookup. Staff here is super friendly and knowledgeable. Campsites are spaced far enough apart so you have plenty of room and some privacy. Will be coming back here on a regular basis.
This campground was very nice. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. My husband is disabled and we wanted to rent a boat. He could not walk the distance, although short, from our rv, to the dock. An employee picked him up, at our spot, and took him back, when he was ready. That was so thoughtful. The area was very quiet, very dark and very peaceful. The tent camping is really secluded. Walking around at night, was really quite spooky. I'm glad I had my dog, with me. I loved this place. We will come back.
Very pretty here, shaded and quiet. Quite a jaunt to river though without a car. Beautiful scenery. Kayak and canoe rentals, clean bathhouse. We are here in May and deer flies are bad. Otherwise great park!
Drove through after a rainy night and found the place to be horrible. Nothing but potholes and mud.
Very secluded and nice campground! Located far enough yet close to nearest city and attractions. Campground was clean and shady. Staff was very friendly. They worked with us when we needed extra nights, they provided us with options whether we wanted to move sites or stay in the same one. Its a large campground but sites are a little cramped in. It didn't bother us at all just took a little while to back into due to narrow road but it wasnt too bad. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in this area. Perfect for families, couples or singles.
Beautiful campground in a great location. Sites were level and and clean. Restrooms were well kept and looked after. Traveling with a handicapped camper, the restrooms were very accommodating. Small campground with nice size sites. River and camp store short walk from sites. Only drawback was check in. Office is by the river which also is a boat launch and rental concessions with parking lot, with no spot to park while you check in. Office staff said most people park and walk in but we didn t notice a place to park or signs directly you to do this.
Lots of trees and other vegetation. Clean facilities and friendly personnel.
We had a reservation arrived early in the area called multiple times before we got through and asked if it would be possible to check in.. the owner stated for $10 they would accommodate. We opted to wait in a local parking lot and unhooked to drive through to see the park. The space was smaller than we needed for our 44 5th wheel. There were large potholes and muddy roads as well as overgrown trees making it impossible for our rig to navigate through the park. The owner called and asked if we were coming and was very rude when we explained the park wouldn t accommodate our rig...!
I called this place all day and the phone was off the hook so we decided to just stop in. They had one night available so we took it. Site 12. Sweet little camp ground with clean bathhouse and laundry. They don t have a fenced dog park but dogs are welcome on a leash and with shot records. They also have a lovely dog walk trail and free dog bags. My kids enjoyed the little playground. Some time we ll be back for longer to rent a canoe! They say book on line from now on.
