| Nice park overall

Pros: The sites are nicely spaced and well maintained. Most are pull-through and have fire grates. We saw deer move through and there are lots of songbirds. Cons: Even though quiet hours are supposed to from 10-8, there was loud music and partying going to well after midnight, and this was at a site very near the camp host's site. Also, there are railroad tracks nearby that can be heard at all hours.

Big sites and everything, including the restrooms and showers ,very neat and clean. we were visiting relatives in downtown Denver but felt that this place was even worth the 45 minute drive each way. It was quiet, plenty of restrooms, nice tables, firepits, and RV pads. the showers are 50 cents for 3 minutes. coin machine available. Nice laundry area. Only negative: paying $8 per day entry fee to the park on top of the camping fee (we paid $22 for electric only site). this is way too much and ridiculous. campers should only have to pay a one time entry fee for the length of their stay. anyway, be prepared to pay the $8 per day in addition to your camp fee.
