| KOA with many seasonal campers

By user-6523798... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2016-07-02 to 2016-07-05

We camped 3 days in motorhome for $171 with KOA discount. Expensive! But it was 4th of July. 250 sites. Clean, many seasonal campers. We camped in transient section in uneven field with 30 amp that was supposed to be 50 amp. But good location if going to Chautauqua Institute which is free on Sundays until 2 pm. Clean and they did have some family activities and Sunday morning Pancake Breakfast for $5. Very small laundries for such big park.

| Cheaper than a hotel

Large park, lots of seasonal. The section we stayed in was as others mentioned in the lower field with out any shade. The park is making improvements on this lots of trees have been planted, so this issue will be cured in a few years. As for the pool, mini golf and other items, we did not use so no review on those. The park is close to wine country, the wine trail, lots of beaches both at the lake and lake erie. We just used the park for spending the night as we spent the days checking out the local area. Note to tobacco users, don't pay New York taxes, Pa is just down the road a lot cheaper on everything. The final veridic this place was great for what we used it for, easy to get to, easy to get in and out, close to everything. The park is clean and workers are friendly, willing to go the extra mile and everything is face to face, example no key cars to get in the gate unless you are planning to come in late, everything thing is done talking to a real person. We will keep this place in mind if in this area again.

Love the area, but this park isn't great. Our site was up on the hill far away from everything, no trees, sites were small and close together. The staff wasn't really friendly, we didn't feel welcome at all. Probably won't go back.
