We had a blast spending the summers out at this lake for four seasons. My kids loved jet skiing in the lake and cooking out doors.
We stayed at the west campground. Clean site and friendly hosts. The RV sites are huge and most are all grass. We are used to dirt, gravel, or concrete pads so the all grass was nice to have. Only stayed for one night so this review is just for the RV site.
Lake view sites are very close together. Have to share a fire pit with your neighbor and picnic table. I was told Lake view is the worst rv sites on the lake. The site served it's purpose but we will not being going back. Kansas has many other parks in the state that are much nicer.
We stayed a weekend in our travel trailer on the West Shore park, north loop, site 078. Clean and mowed grass spots, plenty of space between rv's, hosts did a nice job keeping the place clean. Less than a mile away was a fairly new playground and the sailing club on north end of park is worh the walk to enjoy.
