We stayed here both ways (3/17 and 3/25) on our trip to Tupelo, MS. Nice park and convenient. We didn't use any of the facilities but the staff were very nice and congenial. We had our big rig (and towing) out front on a gravel pad. Even though we were out front, road noise wasn't a problem. Even had a problem with RV and the folks from the RV center next door (Runaway RV) came by and helped us. Very nice folks also. We would stay again.
No concrete slabs but sites are level. Bathroom small, one shower stall only. Very pet friendly. They provide plastic poop bags and disposal areas in pet walking area. Horse shoes game and ladder ball games for use. Excepted passport America discount.
Great place for over night stay on the way to your destination.
This campground is a good RV Park and decent mobile home park. It is an excellent stop over as there are many FULL SIZE pull thru's with 50amp full hook ups. Not a destination recreational campground, but a good place to stay while visiting Dothan, AL. It is situated just 4 miles south of Dothan's Ross Clark Circle on RT.231, and just 3 miles south of Walmart. Easy access for 40' motorhome with towed. Stop for the night and not need to detach towed. Owners are nice.
Right on Hwy 231 so getting on and off is easy (unless you are waiting on traffic which isn't the park's fault). Check in was quick and friendly, they do honor numerous discount programs. I used Good Sam and the two ahead of me used Passport America. I think they got a better rate than I did, but I'm happy. I only used the electric since I was on a one night out trip home from Florida and my tanks were virtually empty and fresh water tank was full. Their free WiFi was pretty much useless when we arrived late afternoon. We were on site 204 right by the office and had a good signal. At 5:00am the next morning it worked great. Obviously a load issue. I would stay here again and the only reason for the 4 star vs 5 is the Wifi. Site 204 is gravel but pretty much level. I didn't even unhook since it close enough for the night. I was in a 5th wheel.
Clean, large pull thru sites with BBQ and picnic table. Gravel or cement sites with grass's and landscaping. We have 38 foot class a. Lovely spot. Cheap has a block away at Walmart. Great wifi. We will be back.
We stayed here on our way to Fla 3/21 to 3/28 to see friends on the way. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and we are back for 2 weeks to attend our church's spring conference and do some Alabama business. The sites are clean, level and 'easy in and easy out'. For overnight or a few days to go to special events this is the place to stay.
We stayed one night. We got in after hours and the owner stayed and waited on us. Owner very nice. Bathrooms small but very clean. We did not try Wi-Fi. Would recommend
Heading south and needed a couple days lay over. Very nice RV park, about 60% long terms. Nice laundry and bathroom facilities. Feels safe. Easy access with full service pull through sites. Dog friendly but no fenced dog park. Well kept.
Our family needed a place to stay in between Illinois and Florida and this site is great for a quick overnight stay. Positives: - Friendly Staff showing southern hospitality - Plenty of food options nearby - Clean, single stall bathrooms Negatives - Close to the highway, so we could hear the traffic (but it wasn t too disturbing) - Lack of camping amenities Overall, this is a great place for a quick one night stop on the way to Florida.
Nice park. Friendly staff. Pull throughs in the front near highway with traffic noise. If you can back in, choose the back of the park. Lots of quiet, beautiful shade trees, birds and squirrels. Very quiet at night. Many permanent residents. We met a few and they were very nice. Includes free cable TV, free wi-fi but it is slow. We stayed in space 815. Would stay here again.
