This is a small campground with a million dollar view. Well kept and friendly owners. We were there twice, most recently for the eclipse. They did a great job at organizing events.
Campground is just in front of Chimney Rock, a landmark for the travelers on the Oregon Trail. You can spend the night here right in a spot they might have. Bit pricey for the amount of amenities available, and there is a train that passes nearby, but it's cute and well-maintained
Easy of highway, flat gravel pull throw sites. Great views of Chimney Rock. Close to Chimney Rock Museum. Joe the owner is a supper guy. Only negative is train whistle all night long.
This RV Park is very well kept with all pull through sites. The owner, Joe, was very friendly and helpful. Being late in the season, the office/shop was closed but the campground was open and fully functional with 30/50 amp service. We had the place all to ourselves with a great view of Chimney Rock.
Flat sites, good utilities. Wonderful view.
Really nice park own by really nice people. Will stop again if I'm in the area.
Small park, only 18 FHU RV sites, and no shade but super clean with flat gravel sites. Bath rooms are spotless. Joe and Laura are great people and very accommodating. They sell breakfast and lunch and have a good variety of flavors of ice cream. A nice central location to go out and explore the area. This is the best place to star gaze! If we re in this are again, we will definitely stay here.
We did a one night stop here just as those on a wagon train may have done. We got in really late and had a little trouble finding the numbers on the sites without getting out of the vehicle. We never saw anyone at the building since we left by 9. Our electric didn't work but luckily the spot next door was empty and the utilities were next to each other so we had power. Fantastic view and I am sure easy to find not in the dark during a rainstorm. We would stay again.
