Beautiful park on the James River, with a multitude of things to see including Plantation mansion tour. Pool was closed for fall/winter, but looked nice from parking lot. Two camping loops, A and B. B loop sites are paved with electric and water, good for large RVs and some are pull throughs. A-loop is all gravel but with nice sites as well. Dump station is at entry/exit. Access roads are rural but very scenic and in good shape. We stayed 3 nights in 28ft MH and will definately be back!
Beautiful location, wonderful sites, friendly host & staff. Water & electric on sites, dump station on exit. Wonderful walking trail/roads, plantation farm implement self tour second to none. Video tours at visitor center, very informative. Enjoyed our late season stay! (Rates higher for out of Staters) John & Paula, Colorado <><
We had a great time in this park, we road our bikes everywhere. This in on a working farm, it was fun riding our bikes through the corn fields to the James River. I took off a star because when we arrived all the dumpsters were full and overflowing after our 3 night stay, other than that everything was clean.
