| Tranquility
The place is quietly tucked away on the west end of the island. Walter greeted us upon arrival and showed us our spot. Sunsets are awesome! The manager spoke to us the next day and asked if anything else he could do for a better stay. Will come again.
| Quirky campground
Situated right on the bay with rocking chairs on the covered patio. Sites are small and close together. We had a 25 foot C class with no slides. But our front window looked out over the bay. Bathrooms are dated. The best thing about this place is the 5 PM happy hour on the chickee..a covered patio. You can visit with your fellow campers. Everyone has a story. There is a community room with big screen TV. Wifi is weak, cell service also weak. Bring your boats and kayak and check out the 10,000 islands. We rode our bikes 3.5 miles into Everglade City and went on the National Park boat tour. Great restaurant only a couple blocks away called Havana Cafe.
