Reviews for Christmas RV Park

| Nice But

The showers / restrooms were clean and nicer than most. No campsite fire pits. $10. Penalty if you do not reserve ahead $46 vs $56 per night. I understand the logic is to reward reservations but the effect is to pay more for less if you arrive after closing. Minor but annoying to park for 8 hours, have many of the facilities closed and to pay a premium.

Too much black mud. Permanent residents built wood platforms. Showers clean. People friendly but no invitations to any activities.

I spent one night here on the thousand mile drive home from buying a new to me motorhome. I arrived just after the end of twilight after discovering my headlights were stuck on low beam, and found their well lighted "RV PARK" sign to be a beacon in the dark. Upon arriving I found the office was closed (the hours are very limited, opening in the mornings and early afternoon only), here I found a set of after hours envelopes with 2 sites to choose from E2 or F2, the map showed they were nearly twins of each other, so I picked one at random. The park consists of mostly parallel row of gravel drives and wooded grass pull through sites with a power/water pole. The envelope I had filled out and dropped in the night box claimed my site had 30 and 50 amp hook ups, however when I pulled in I found the 30 amp outlet missing, not a problem as I had a 50 amp cord, but this could have been an issue for someone else. The place looks like it is popular with the snow bird crowd, many sites had permanent wood steps, or RV's that were still closed up for the season. The one good thing I can say about the place is it was quiet. On a side note they claim to have WIFI, but don't include the password with the overnight check in envelope which combined with their limited office hours makes it useless for overnight guests. The best thing I can say about the place is it was a good place for a quiet nights sleep, and my rating would have been higher if the price were lower, $56 just seems a bit much to pay for some grass to park on and an electric outlet. (no sewer hook up at site, just central dump station)

Nice - thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Largest sites we have seen in 30+ states - we have a 40 foot 5th wheel and very easily could have fit a second one on our site. Friendliest people ever! Wish we didn t have to move on. Never could hook to the WiFi only downfall.

Very quiet park, well maintained , the WiFi was sketchy at times but for the most pretty good. Big sites, you can burn if you ask. You have to have your own ring. Staff is friendly.

| Where does Santa hangout in the off season?

Nice and quiet, large, plentiful sites, clean pool, fenced dog park. I'm pretty sure I saw Santa hanging out near the Sugar Plum community hall, at the end of Candy cane lane. There is a little lake, at the back of the park, down the dirt road next to the park, on public land
