Disappointed
By user-5858831... on 2017-10-23.
Very nice visitor center and bathrooms. The dry sites that were available were way to far out of level for longer/ bigger rv's. The developed sites were all full (midweek in early March). Suggest making reservations for a developed site if you travel in a larger 5th wheel or motor home.

Wonderfully unique

We managed to snag one of the very few reservable dry sites online in the Pegasus Campground. Great privacy between the looming stones, lots of trails, and only 20-30 min from grocery shops. This place is incredible - wish we had stayed longer!

What a unique stop!

We have 3 kids 12,10 & 7 and the boulders provided an amazing playground. It it's very remote and quiet. Great place for star gazing. We had a blast!

Great views and awesome walking trails.

We camped in Vegas's, overnight without hook ups. Quiet and beautiful. Super moon over Christmas 2015 was bight and clear. We didn't use any amenities since everything was closed but had a very relaxing time with great views.

Loved it!
By user-6548848... on 2018-03-14.
Private sites situated among rock pillars in the desert. No hookups in these but room for our 43’ MH. 10 W and E siites are together in a flat area but still nicely done. Miles of gravel trails. The rock formations are beautiful! Don’t miss it!

Favorite place

Stayed 2018-03-02 to 2018-03-06
This is an amazing unique campground. Sites are tucked in amongst the rocks. Climbing on and around the rocks was like a high playground and fun to do even at our age (60+). Volunteers at the visitor center are friendly and knowledgeable. Will differently be planning a return trip here.

Wish they had a dump

Other than that, a quiet scenic park. Some sites are not level for longer rigs, ours is 31' and was a little off level. Great park for birding and hiking. Rocks are magical and transform into different shapes and figures depending on the lighting.

Out of the ordinary
By user-4548370... on 2018-07-06.
The rocks are certainly unique.
There are RV sites with electric and water, but no septic or dump station. They are close together, but each has a table under a tin shade roof (it is too windy for a fabric awning).
Check out is not until 2 pm, so it is possible to visit Gila Cliffs if you leave early in the morning, and get back in time.
There are tent sites among the rocks.

Neat setting but problems
By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.
5/12/2019 A very beautiful and unique park. But they had a sign that temporarily hot water was unavailable. So cold showers on a 50 degree day. The ladies side of the vault toilet nearest the electric sites was out of toilet paper. Maybe coming in on Sunday was the problem?

Not for a big rig

We stayed one night cool place, but tough for us to get our 45 + toad in and out of.
