Shity sites. Very small. Unfriendly office people. Looks nice from hwy 61. Keep driving by. Won't be back...

| Nice Stay

We stayed in the new part of the campground. It has hookups on both sides so class A's can pull in and 5th wheels can back in. Every site in the new section has a great view of Lake Superior. The old section across the street is cramped and tight....glad we didn't stay there. We camped in a 40 ft 5th wheel.

I was worried after reading the reviews, but we stayed in the lower campground one night in Sept '16 and it was just fine. Sites were small and the bathrooms were outdated, but clean. There's beach access and great views. Water, wifi, electric $35 Waking up to a gorgeous sunrise included.

Just stayed one night in a pick-up camper but had a super private spot, clean shower and bathrooms. Host was nice and informative. Would stay again. Reasonable at 26.00 ( dry camped) . Wi-Fi was marginal at my spot but not impossible.

We really enjoyed our stay there. It was our first time there and was in the fall. Colors were beautiful! The staff was WONDERFUL!!!! We are planning another stay!! :-)

| Can't answer their phone

I did not even end up staying here. The problem is that they do not answer their phone. It goes straight to a voicemail and they take around a day to call back. I called three times total. Call One: Left a message to make a reservation. Just over 24 hours later they call back. And we set up the reservation and pay for the site. A few days before we go to the site the next week a change of plans happens and we need to add an extra night. Call Two: I leave another message asking if I can add a night. Around 20-24 hours later, they call back and I cannot. My only option is getting another site there and moving campsites sunday morning due to other reservations. That sucks and I still have time so I say Ill call back. I end up finding another site that can accomodate me. Call three: I ask for a call back. 20ish hours later they finally call back. I have already stayed one night at the other site. They will not let me cancel the reservation or refund me despite it being their fault that they can not simply call back in a timely manner. Very basic business model.
