Reviews for Clarksville RV Park & Campground

| Noisy but clean

By user-5210789... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2015-10-03 to 2015-10-04

A decent place for a nights stay, kind of on the expensive side, but super clean bathroom and shower facilities. Pull through sites, very large and multiple dog walking areas. The back of the park is against the freeway, and the front is adjacent to a metal recycling yard. Yes, they do work on Sunday mornings! Convenient Fuel stop nearby. I would give it four stars but for the price...but if you want a shower, it might be worth the extra money.

| Great Stopping point

By user-5310721... on 2017-10-23.

Excellent park to stop at on the way North! Easy access, pull thrus, VERY clean bathrooms and laundry, even a few convenience items (bread, milk, etc) in office.

| Overpriced

By user-5861797... on 2017-10-23.

We have stayed here twice a year for several years and price finally made it up over $40 even with GS discount. This year we found a CG just 5 miles away at less than $20 for a 100' plus pull thru with full hook ups (Passport discount). Needless to say we won't be back to this place until they start being reasonable with their runaway prices!

Very nice park, some road noise.

| Enjoyable syay

By user-5243360... on 2017-10-23.

Stayed 2 nights after picking up my camper... very friendly staff park was clean. No complaints. Got plenty of rest after traveling. Rained while unhook in and wound up leaving my sewer cap on the ground (sorry) would stay here again.

| Close to interstate

By user-6697187... on 2017-10-23.

Full hookups, noisey near interstate 24. Gravel lots with pull throughs. Have wifi, but no cable tv. Nothing much and yet adequate. With discounts and tax, almost $40. Not cheap.

Nice place...easy to get to...it's raining so not exploring

| Noisy during the day

By user-5106848... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2015-05-14 to 2015-05-15

Pretty nice, but the wrecking yard across the street is really loud during the day. The "playground" is just two big kid swings. The laundry room is only open 8am to 8pm strictly. Didn't get the wifi at all

By user-6126154... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2016-03-31 to 2016-04-01

Very clean. Agree with a little pricey for an overnight stay (we paid $48), but it's in a great location and there is a pool, so I understand charging a little more.

| Clean but noisy

By user-5861234... on 2017-10-23.

Clean , nice landscaping , lots of grass to walk dogs . Front rows for overnighters faces a wrecking yard ( hidden by trees) the noise during the day is overwhelming . Nighttime is quiet , also ten spaces on front rows , why pack the only 4 overnighters together so we look into each other's window ?

| Nice, little pricey

By user-5300690... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2015-11-21 to 2015-11-22

We stayed for the night on a semi level gravel lot with 50 amp / 30 amp with water and no sewer for $38.00 "good SAMs " . The staff was friendly and helpful. The weather was freezing and we needed an over night. The park was crowded with several large rv's coming in while we were there. He park is located right off the interstate, however you hear very little noise. I would stay here again, although it is pricey for what you get. Located near restaurants and fuel.

| Overpriced, noisy

By user-5801770... on 2017-10-23.

Overpriced for one night stay, no cable, only used electric. Did not want to unhook from rv, but it was not level. Check in was very slow.

| Good experience...

By user-5871624... on 2017-10-23.

I loved all of the staff I met and the park itself was a hidden jewel.. I show dogs and was driving home from Florida and enjoyed the two days here. Better WiFi would have given them 5 stars. Clean, close to town and large level sites.. I drive a 36 ft diesel pulling a trailer... will come again.

Hospitable staff, very clean bathrooms with good showers, well maintained and reasonable rates. Stayed one night en route to Florida in a Sprinter Van.

| Best in Area

By user-5893442... on 2018-03-14.

We lived in Clarksville for many years before we decided to travel full-time in our motor home. We come back occasionally. I guess I should be glad that there's a decent place to stay. Sadly, there's nothing else to choose from in this area other than Fletcher's Fork at Ft Campbell. Save yourself the trip out there and stay at Exit 1.

| Background Noise Needed

By user-6430866... on 2018-03-14.

Most of the sites are pull-through, and the staff is very friendly, Good Sam participants. However, background noise is much needed as the park is right next to the interstate.

| Sleep Free Zone

By user-5529377... on 2018-05-17.

If you want to feel like you are in the pits at a NASCAR race ALL NIGHT LONG, this is the place for you! Convenient- Yes, Clean-Yes, Dog Run and Areas -Yes. Pull over in a rest area if you want a decent nights sleep.

| Won't find friendlier owners

By user-4596359... on 2018-05-17. Stayed 2018-04-24 to 2018-04-26

This CG is right off the interstate, thus noisy as noted in other reviews. However, the sites are all pull-thru, level, plenty big. Grounds are well-maintained, with good facilities and a great little camp store. The owner and workers couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed talking with them. Also, they have propane available which is easy to get to. If the noise bothers you, use a sound machine or fan, which I always do anyway.

| Helpful staff

By user-6297970... on 2018-07-06.

Called same day for reservation got good site, pull thru with room . 32 C with toad. Somewhere lost, pilfered or? 30 amp extension theyhad one. Needed another part, they knew of rvsuppy store.

| Beautifully maintained, but mild highway noise

By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.

The sites, lawn, pool and public areas are perfectly maintained. The checkin staff was super nice and the office was clean and welcoming. It s easy on and off the highway and close to gas and shopping. As others have mentioned- noise is an issue. During the day the scrap yard has constant beeping from equipment backing up, at night the highway noise is noticeable. A white noise app or fan helps, but several times we were awakened by someone on the highway who though that 2am would be the best time to test the top speed of their mustang. Overall it s a great place to park (sites are large enough for our long travel trailer or an even longer class A with toad) and we would stay there again. You may want to consider earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Nice campground close to the interstate. Some traffic noise, some helicopter noise. NIce people, owners that is. My site was pretty level. No complaints.

| Absolutely Excellent

By user-4717753... on 2019-08-09.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars. It is the poster child for what a campground should be. The owners were contrcters before the bought this park. They have worked wonders in the two years since they have owned it. It is as perfect a campground as I have ever stayed in.

| Clean, noisy, and a bit high priced.

By user-6043385... on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2019-07-10 to 2019-07-11

We made reservations while on the road and pulled in at 10pm. Although clean, with easy access from the highway, it did not have sewage but only water and electricity hookups. They do have a dump station upon exiting. The park has level spaces, easy pull through, close restrooms and showers but is located directly across from a junk yard or recycling plant making all kinds of noise by 7am. overall we would come back. Also each person is additional $3.00.

| Nice park

By user-5249114... on 2019-08-09.

Easy access because its close to highway, but a little noisey because its close to highway, hehe. Very clean and well kept. Would have given it a 5 star except for road noise a thr night. Would surely stay here again for an overnighter.

| Super Friendly and Helpful!

By user-unknown on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2019-07-20 to 2019-07-22

This was a very clean and well run RV park. Everyone was friendly and it felt very safe and comfortable to be there. I accidentally left my surge protector and when I called they had found it and were able to mail it to me.
