Reviews for Clearwater Travel Resort

| OK Park

With Passport America rate it is a decent place to stay. Office staff were friendly and accommodating for last minute stay. Pool was great, bath house was nice. Laundry was inexpensive. There are a LOT of permanent campers, so it does have the feel of a trailer park, but we would stay here again for a couple days if ever in Clearwater again.

Such a lovely place, very carrying and helpful staff. The location is perfect. We love everything about it.

| Awesome manager

We arrived after the office closed without a reservation. We had a last minute change of plans out of our control. The manager came out and introduced herself and gave us a spot. I don't recommend assuming they will have a place without a reservation. The park is clean and has good wifi.

Nice quiet clean friendly staff. Clearwater Beach is about 20 minutes depending on traffic.

Pricey, but I understand location location. Sites were level and roomy a little soft, lots of rain. As usual ( Florida typical) 90 % of sites had Park Models or long timers. Not very friendly. Not very welcoming didn't most of them start out as RV er's?

Nice park. Mainly full timers or snow birds. Good sized level sites. Very nice heated pool Clean modern bathrooms and showers. Would stay again.

We stayed here for two nights. Pulling in through a parking lot of a shady (shut down?) Hotel was initially a little startling but the people here couldn t be friendlier, it s only a 15-30 minute drive to the beach...it s a 45 minute walk to the Phillies spring training and there are restaurants and a mall within a mile. As a bonus there is a small fenced in dog area. I would recommend trying to get an actual site instead of overflow parking if possible. Bathrooms and pool were clean.

| They moved our assigned site.

Todays March 14th 2019. I called their office to confirm our reservation for tomorrow through March 18th. I was told our reservation site was moved from #38 to site 160. We would have found out when we arrived because they took it upon themselves to move us without calling us. We asked for #38 because we have a rear living camper and the site overlooks an empty field. Site 160 looks into the back of another camper .

We stayed here with PPA Discount. The WiFi is free but was not working at the time we where here. They have perfect HD reception on your antenna. Although the park is near the very busy Gulf to Bay blvd the park itself is quiet. It takes a little patience to get into the park with all the traffic. But no worries. Getting out you can sneak through the backdoor, much easier. No train noise! Backins are a little challenge if your have a big rig, but once your are there it is a great spot. A short drive to the beach and you can bike for hours just right off the park. We sure will be back. By the way: a very nice hot pool. We camped at Clearwater Travel Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
