I was a little disappointed with this Texas State park. The restrooms were in need of repair. The showers dripped the toilets had the wrong size toliet seats and they were very dirty. The TT back in spots were very off level. Make sure you bring plenty of levelers. There are no boat rentals and the park service does not have a park store. The only store is in the main office and it's mostly nick nacks.
Couldn't get any reception for TV or Internet. Spaces are tight and small for anything over 25 feet. Thought I fell off the earth as it so far out people did not exist. They lock the main gate at night by 10:00 pm so if your out and need to get back forget it! No sewer or 50 amp! Even Big Foot wouldn't live here!
The parks main office has WiFi for guest but it's very spotty. We have A T & T phone service and had no reception. You need to drive approx 3 miles out of the park before you get a signal. They do have sewer and 50 amp service in one section of the park. The employees are wonderful and appear to make the best of what little the state gives them to work with.
