Tried stopping in during a cross country road trip and the E 700 rd entrance was closed. Did not see any lights on.
Average State park. Water sites available after April 1st Some electric sites have 50amp service. Sites are well spaced and are ample for parking 40 foot units. Larger rigs might be a challenge to park here. There is a transient population in the park. Some folks may not feel comfortable camping here. Alot of the units (including hosts) are not well kept and IMO just accumulations of junk and debris. With that being said, I did not feel unsafe or concerned with the well being of my rig. I do feel that a certain amount of courtesy and decorum is required when using State Parks. That message is lost here amongst these users and the management, and in the process deters the RVing population from staying here. I do recommend this park as an off season alternative to the more expensive private park nearby. Good local TV reception Good Verizon service. Nice place to camp while touring the local area. SELF PAY STATIONS ARE LOCATED AT THE SERVICE ROADS IN THE TWO CAMPING AREAS. THERE IS NO NEED TO DO THE SELF PAY AT THE MAIN OFFICE AFTER HOURS.
