| Very Dissapointing
First of all the good. You are close to the beach. Coastal weather, beautiful. The park is clean and the sites all have grass. Now, the bad. Sites are cramped and the road is barely a vehicle and a half wide. They allow tent camping with multiple vehicles mixed in with RV sites which leaves little room to maneuver into and out of the 90 degree sites. We were woke up @ 3 am by a truck trying to get a trailer backed into their site next to us. They could not without my truck and two across from us moving. Some one at SLO Parks needs to do a better job planning site reservations.

Nefarious activities common. It even makes the news occasionally. SLO county should be ashamed. Pass this one up.
| Very unsafe for crowding sites
If you do not mind being packed in like sardines and are not concerned with needing to get out in an emergency this place is ok doe you. If you love ATV's and don't mind the above or dessert dirt rate this place is great for you. There needs to be a law about how many cars, trucks, trailers and RV's can be in one site. There should be rules on not parking to close to the street. This is what makes it so dangerous. I had trucks next to me and across the street. I would not be axle to get out without making two move. We were for forced to stay two nights when booking too
