Reviews for Coastal Georgia RV Resort

By user-4745870... on 2017-10-23.

This has to be one of the nicest RV parks anywhere. It was so nice that the TiffinRVNetwork has held two rallies there, each time either over 90 rigs each time. The owner bends over backwards to accommodate your needs. Most sites are pull-thru except along the lake. Each site has a full concrete pad and patio. There are many things to do in the area.

For an overnight stop on I 95 this is about as good as it gets I wish we had parks like this on all of our travels excellent

| Very Clean, close to I-95

We overnighted at this very clean cement pad PT with full hookups for less than $40 w/GS. Really enjoyed Bubba Ajax Crab Shack restaurant nearby. Bathrooms surgically clean and pleasant. Office has well stocked RV supplies. OK to wash rig on site. Liked it so much, stayed again on way back vs. distance more convenient place. Garbage pick up in the morning. This will be our first. Future stopping point when traveling north on 95 from Treasure Coast Florida. Wifi iffy but in process of getting updated. No shade trees. Can hear faraway train when A/C or furnace not on.

| Great overnight stop for I-95 travelers!

Level concrete pull through sites on most of the property. Clean, well maintained, great staff. Perfect for Florida travelers headed north.

| Top notch!

This RV resort sets the bar. Great level concrete sites, enough room and nice landscaping between sites. Clean pool, those that were staying there were very friendly. Close to Islands. We will return for a month! We stayed in a back in site on the lake (pond). We have a 36 ft 5th wheel.

Wow, great RV resort. More places like this are needed along the interstates. Will definitely be back again.

Same review as a little over a year ago...5 stars!!! Stayed here for an overnight while traveling, but would stay here longer term if staying in area. Very clean RV park. Our pull-thru, 50 amp, FHU site was concrete and level. No leveling was needed. Hookups are convenient and easy. There is a hedge between sites for privacy and ample room between sites. There is a patio & grill. Our site was on the first row when entering so was easy to access. It was a tad tight when exiting, but wasn't a problem. WiFi worked well and plenty of cable channels. Friendly, easy check-in. We'll definitely stay here again.

This ia a great place, very clean, and how an RV park should be. Check in was friendly and easy. Our FHU, pull-thru site was on a concrete slab and level. There was plenty of space between sites with a hedge for privacy. The cable had plenty of channels. WiFi went from lightning fast to slow, so mostly used my own. Easy off/on to I-95 with stores/restaurants/fuel nearby. We would stay here again.

Stayed here before and was pleased. Unfortunately, things have changed. Had a reservation for September 8th through the 11th. Irma forced a change of plans. Storm track took path over Brunswick. Called to cancel reservations and was told that they would be charging a one night cancellation fee because we cancelled within 3 days. Really??? Absolutely ridiculous. Hope they are happy with the money they got from me. Never coming back.

| Very Nice - Would Definitely Stay Again

Other reviewers have done a nice job of giving the details about this RV Park. It is one of the cleanest and nicest RV Parks we have visited. The grounds, the pool, the landscaping are all meticulously maintained. They even have strong WiFi. All roads are paved. All pads are level concrete. There is cable TV, but not HD. Very nice and convenient. There is some highway noise. There is also train noise.

| Very nice!

Well maintained! Concrete pads. Bath house nice. Not much shade. Level site.

| Still a nice facility

By user-5440188... on 2017-10-23.

We arrived late after fighting holiday traffic on US 17 and I-95. Our reservation was ready and waiting and we found the site with no problems. This campground is still well-maintained and it is such a relief to be able to stay here when we travel through the area. My only "complaint" was that the bathrom shower water pressure was pitiful and the water never got hot enough to enjoy. This won't deter our staying here in the future... it is merely a report on an overnight stay at a really good campground

Clean, easy on and off to I95, great AC bathrooms and laundry room, local to all shopping and restaurants. I can not say enough nice things about this RV resort. Definitely going to return to it.

| Perfect Stop

By user-5893650... on 2017-10-23.

Resort has been well designed and executed. Lots of space between rigs, all pull through sites, big clean bathrooms and and showers. A definite stop for going north or south.

| We gave it a try...

By user-5440188... on 2017-10-23.

...and will certainly be back. The office staff (Ms. Judy especially) was nice but very busy handling calls from folks trying to reserve a spot. The campground is well laid out with adequate maneuvering room for big rigs. The sites are long/wide for just about any size or type of setup. They even permit on-site washing of your RV and vehicle if you want, but there is a local detailing service that is very good and quite reasonably-priced. I guess my only reason for not giving a 5-star rating was the smell. I couldn't tell if it was from a chemical plant of if it was something else but it did detract from the experience. I/we do want to return and plan to do so again before spring.

Traveling through so we only stayed one night. Quiet and clean. Nice people working the desk.

We went here to test camp in our, new to us, Class C. Park is super clean, easy in/out pull thru large level concrete pads. Hedges between sites, quiet, nice facility. The staff was very nice and helpful. Pool and bathhouse are clean and we'll kept. The only thing lacking (in my opinion) was trees.

| Great overnight stop !

We stopped here for the evening staying overnight on our way to Disney . It was so nice and so clean ! I would highly recommend stopping here . You won't be disappointed !

| A very nice place and I would stay again

By user-5852471... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2015-11-10 to 2015-11-11

We stayed one night late in the season, November. Found the check-in staff quite friendly and helpful. The park itself looked clean and nicely landscaped. The roads in the park are a bit tight so watch those turns. The sites were all cement and level with grass all around you with a picnic table. Full hook ups with 50amps, and a separate water connection to wash your car/rig (no charge). Even though the sites are narrow, there are rows of shrubs between you and your neighbor, so it gives you a sense of some measure of privacy. The laundry and bathrooms were nice and clean too. All in all, a very nice place and I would stay again. You’re less than a mile from I-95 so some road noise, but not too bothersome. Oh, and several quick turns off I-95 so pay attention.

Great park. Our pull-through site was spacious and accommodated our 42' 5th Wheel and tow vehicle nicely. The park staff in and out of the office were friendly and helpful. The utility hookups were very well placed, at least for our rig. Water pressure was great so be sure to use a regulator. WiFi was strong & usable. We did experience a power "blip" on 2 of our 4 days here. Not a big deal, but it happened. We did not use the rest room or bath facilities. Our dog enjoyed the off-leash dog park. We'll most certainly return!

One night stay, convenient off 1-95. Clean nice park, office staffers very helpful. Pilot at the same exit for refueling.

By user-6493641... on 2017-10-23.

We are scheduled to arrive 09/08/17 and depart 09/11/17. The Governor of Georgia has issued an evacuation order due to Hurricane Irma. I called to cancel my stay and request a refund. I was told that NO REFUND would be issued. What??? Of course I am going to dispute the transaction through the credit card company and I know that I will win. I also intend to post this on Facebook. I recommend that this place be boycotted until such time as the owner(s) issues an apology for their stupidity and issue refunds. I know that I will NEVER visit that RV park...

We stayed here for the month of October, very pleased with the sites. Large level concrete pads with nice landscaping. Nice swimming pool and laundry facilities. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

| Great Park!

This is our second time staying here for 10 days or more. The park is super clean, well maintained and very convenient to Jekyll Island and the entire Brunswick area. This is by far the nicest park in the area and one of the nicest we've found in the Southeast. We will definitely stay here again.

| I'm Sorry, There s Nothing We Can Do

By user-unknown on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2018-10-28 to 2018-11-03

Came in to stay for a week with friends. 6 month lead time and deposit was made. On the way in we get a call our space is occupied by another rig whose owner is in the hospital. Ok, we'll take another spot. Except, the other spot was 6 rows away from our group. That's fine for the night. Morning comes and I approached the manager in order to relocate closer to the group. As I walked to the office I noted plenty of openings nearby. What's the possibility of relocation? I ask. All spaces are full. Umm, no there are many vacancies I respond. I ask if the vacancies are for another group or singles. We have no other groups but yours this week. So I ask if they could move a single to our spot and let us get closer. I'm sorry there's nothing I can do was the reply. I look at the manager for a brief moment expecting a change of heart. Nope, a steadfast position was displayed by a shrug of the shoulder and shake of the head. I then said we will be leaving in an hour and not to charge us any further. Before I got back to the coach a call was made moving us closer to our group. Why the hassle? When threatened with loss of income a solution was found. Other than that the park is nice but a little cramped. No trees for shade on most of the spots. Finding it from the highway is a challenge. I didn't record our rate as we got a group rate.

| Noisy

By user-unknown on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2019-02-07 to 2019-02-12

Really a nice facility but the noise level from the interstate and the local hot rodders makes it a place to which we will not return.

By user-unknown on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2019-02-12 to 2019-02-13

Very clean and well organized. Many pull through sites. Convenient to I-95, Brunswick and Jekyll Island.

| And yes, we will definitely stay here again

Back on 11/11/15 we stayed 1 night and I gave a 5 Star review here titled A very nice place and I would stay again . Well, we re back and stayed 7 nights this time in February 2019. And here are some things that I didn t cover back then. You have a nice picnic table and charcoal grilling station at your site. The tall hedges between all the sites gives the feeling privacy even though the sites are close together. There is some I-95 road noise and train noise, but not too bad. Very nice laundry, $1.75 each (dryer needed 2 cycles though). There is a community fire pit next to the covered picnic area and a boat dock on small lake/pond. They were also in the middle of an expansion, adding several sites. There s plenty of shopping in Brunswick and touring on Jekyll Island State Park, Amelia Island, etc. We did not use the Wi-Fi this time as our T-Mobil Hot Spot was perfect. Finally, they pick up trash daily at your site, but no recycling here. And yes, we will definitely stay here again.

| Very nice and continuing to improve

By user-6748101... on 2019-08-09.

This is a very nice park, and even with the location close to I-95, I didn't really notice the noise. The sites are paved and landscaped, and the majority are big-rig friendly pull-throughs. Each site has a picnic table and charcoal grill which was a really nice touch. Wide roads and plenty of room to swing/back in for the exterior back-in sites. There's a nice dock overlooking a large pond, 2 fire pits, & large community room with a fireplace and kitchen. Clean and convenient laundry rooms. Close proximity to TA/ Flying J, Winn Dixie, and Starbucks. They seem to be adding on. I anticipate that we may stop here in the future, so I look forward to seeing the changes and additions.

By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.

Easy access to I-95, multiple fuel stations & a Winn-Dixie less than a mile away. Majority of sites are pull thru, with small shrubs giving some privacy. Nice club house & bathroom/ laundry facilities. IMO this is much nicer than any Koa you re going to overnight at.

| Just a place to park.

By user-6271830... on 2019-08-09.

A place to park when you visit Jekyll Island. Swimming pool not heated, the small pond not a place you would want to paddle around on. Just lots of concrete. It is easy to park on the pull through sites. Jekyll Island about 20 minutes away.

| Best overnight campground we've found on I-95

By user-6336722... on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2019-04-09 to 2019-04-10

We've stayed here once before and liked it. Check-in was super quick. Pull through was concrete and level. Not the widest site but good enough. Far enough off the interstate that road noise is almost imperceptible. Gas / Diesel, food store and restaurants are nearby too. Bathrooms / showers were spotless.

By user-6146824... on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2019-04-10 to 2019-04-11

Easy access off I95 and an exceptional place for an overnight stop. Great staff and they were well prepared for my check in. Extremely clean and well maintained campground. FHU worked great, each site is well groomed with privacy bushes between each site, and level concrete pads. Definitely a place to consider when traveling I95.

By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.

Very nice pull though. Shrubs give privacy between sites. Charcoal grill, picnic table, cement pad for table and pull through. Grass green and thick, very clean, lots of new construction, will stop again

Very nice well maintained RV Park. Spacious sites with shrubs between each site for privacy. Has lakefront sites also. Picnic table at each site. Has lake, pavilion, and pool. Definitely plan to go back. Adding new sites when we were there.
