Not crowded, nice views, clean bathrooms, self pay, you can arrive anytime, regular price is $20 per night, lots of pressure in water line, I only opened a quarter, was afraid it would pop my lines. It is conveniently located between Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Temperatures are 10 to 15 degrees warmer than in Santa Fe, that was an important factor for us. Right next to tent rock park and at the entrance there is a laundromat and a gas station. Any size rigs, pets ok, no alcohol.

After a very windy, white knuckle drive from Texas, this was a welcome restful spot. Nice views of lake, and so quiet you can hear yourself breathe! Camped in a Class C motorhome in a nice pull thru spot.

beautiful large sites with water and electric for $ 10 per night with the senior pass. gorgeous lake and mountain views all around. sites are really spread out and CLEAN. Nice pads, picnic tables, and shelters at each site. restrooms were very clean, but no hot water in the women's' showers . Had to take a cold shower. the stars at night were amazing . No light pollution!! Highly recommend this campground. We were traveling with a 25 ft. Towable trailer. Plenty of room for big rigs. we want to return and spend a week or so here. also recommend the Tent Rocks National Monument just a few miles from here. Really unusual and worth seeing.

Would recommend staying here. If your in the area. They do not allow alcohol on the property.

We stayed 4 nights in a 25 ft MH. Roads and pads are paved. Our site (69) was close to level. Each site has a covered picnic table. Very few electric sites. Water available in CG. Very quiet and good views of lake and mountains. Showers are adequate, pretty clean but maintenance could use some attention.

Only two loops have electricity, and of those most but not all have water. Sites are paved and fairly level. There is only one bath, with shower, that is clean and serviceable. Many sites are reserved. The system used is a small board mark d with a grease pencil. Sometimes there are more than one so look carefully. Also, our experience is they are not always up to date causing confusion and disappointment. Be prepared... Strong Verizon signal. Current fee $20 less with senior card.

We liked the views of the lake. We stayed in site 52, paved roads with some tight turns with a 40 foot travel trailer. Great views of the lake and all sites have a covered area. There are campgrounds with and without electricity, so come prepared. Site 51 looks great and next time we will try to reserve that one. This app states camping is 6.00, but electric are 20.00 and non-electric 12.00. There are very strict leash laws, even when your dog is on your site and clearly not going anywhere. The park "attendant" circles the park and points out "rule breaking".
