I haven't stayed at a ton of parks but this was probably one of the disappointing parks. Not a bad location, about 5 minute drive to Cody. Staff was efficient but not very friendly or helpful. Cable didnt really work and the staff suggested I find a secret button in my trailer to push (have never had a problem before here). The majority of the park is out in the open with no trees for shade or wind break. Pads were semi level, but rutted out dirt/gravel made for uneven areas in the pad. Felt like I was camping in a cow pasture. Bathrooms, laundry facilities, and lounge were fine. Not a bad overnight stop if have younger kids, as they do have a pool, trampoline, basketball court, game room, and other things for entertainment. It is set up like a vacation destination for people with kids who aren't going to leave the park, but it is located basically in a field. Just not my cup of tea.

This is middle-of-the-road KOA. It has decent amenities... pool, laundry, cable, etc... but so-so WiFi. We had a site near the front, which was shaded. However, you hear all the road noise and everybody coming in and out. This place has a lot of traffic! We also had people arriving in the middle of the night. It was hard to get a good night's sleep... unless you like wearing ear plugs. Also, there was no pet area. The spaces were really weird... we had a nice patio space, but they parked the motorhomes in opposite directions. Our bedroom slides were just two feet from our neighbor's slide. Some spaces shared the patio space... which is a first for me. My main problem is that the place was too expensive... even by KOA standards. I know that Cody is a popular place, but this is the second most expensive that I've ever stayed in... and I'm a full-timer.
