Stayed overnight spaces a little bit tight. However very nice campground great place for walking dogs off in the woods with trails. Clean showers. Many long-term campers probably come here to get away and keep their campers here. Friendly staff great for families would camp here again be sure to call for reservations at least on the road.

The owners of the Cold River Campground are very serious about making things right with people who stay there. Our first of a two night stay was disrupted by some excessive noise. Upon hearing about it, the owners, in a manner considered ‘above and beyond’, dealt with the issues creating the noise and went out of there way in order to insure our satisfaction. A nice campground in a wooded area with owners who care about their customers’ satisfaction. Bravo!

Wooded and level gravel lots. We were able to get a pull through and the owners allowed us to extend our stay. Nicest people.

The campground is full and when 10pm rolls around, it s silent. If you want a party campground, (thankfully) this isn t it. The owners live onsite and are serious about customer service and keeping this campground groomed, clean and quiet. This is a rare little gem.

We dry camped for two nights so we could explore Bangor. Campground is about six miles from city. Bathrooms we're clean and well lit. Mostly seasonal campers. We're 21 feet and fit easily but larger rigs should check availability.
