Nice and handy just off the highway and near to a large park if you have children or pets. Take a ball and shoot some hoops . And yes like the previous review leave a donation or do like we did and go and spend some money in the town.
Its a city provided, donation based park with electric, water and a dump station. Relatively quite and secure. It's not the Hilton but it's pretty nice of these folks to provide a place to stop for the night with services. Say thanks and leave some $.
Quiet city park on the edge of town athletic fields. Lots of room to walk. No grass, just dirt but well maintained with water, electric and a dump station. Free but campers can leave a donation. Lots of spaces and only 2 other campers here. No one hanging out, no one living here in a camper. Feels safe. Several restaurants within a mile or so. Can't beat this for the price and it was the best we found between Wichita Falls and Roswell NM. Be aware that the Walmart showing up on RVParky appears to be closed.
Nice and Quiet....spartan but more than one could ask for an overnite stop. Donation ...proper and fitting.....we left $15 for elec and dump station. A great donut shop just N on main drag.....great apple fritters , kolaches(halepeno), cake donuts, coffee. Nice oil and winery community. Definitely a bargin.
Nice for an overnight stay. Nothing fancy but had water, electricity and a dump station. Just leave a donation.
We stayed 1 night. Quiet and clean. Woke up and found 3 more travelers joined us. Safe and comfortable. Saw police patrolling at least 3 times. Great little town. Please leave a donation to keep this place available.
Shade and free elec/water hookups. And an onsite sewer connection! Thank you, Brownfield. Donation in your drop!
Stayed here 10/9/19. Free electric & water. 3 rig here when I arrived. All the spots were taken when I woke up. Thanks for the free spot. Donations accepted.
This is a nice free camping offered by the city of Brownfield, with electric (30 and 15 amp) and water on each site and a dump station for everyone to use. We are on sIte 7B and there seem to be 16 sites available. We arrived a 5:00 pm and 4 sites were already taken. Very close to the road makes it noisy, but it s winter and all windows are closed so noise is not bad. A good place to stop for a few days to rest. We have a Verizon Jetpack with 2 bars of cell reception and MetroPCS phone with 3 bars, so we will have Internet tonight. This morning 15/11/18 I can say we spent a good night here without any problems. Road noise was not an issue for us.
Perfect spot to stop and refresh, open gravol sites with water and electric, dump station nearby. No fee but accept donations. Park is adjacent to RV sites, perfect to stretch your legs or walk the dog. Stayed 2 nights due to high winds. Nice grocery store in town. Wanted to use library but closed on Saturday. Propane refill at the Co-op, closes at noon on Saturday, we arrived at 12:15. Also noticed there is a laundry mat in town. Good place to stop and do your errands etc.
Thank you Brownfield for offering this free oveenigbyes for tired travelers. Be sure to leave donation!
Called ahead for a spot and was informed the park was never full. Stayed 2 nights on our way East. "QUIET" at night. Most sites fairly level. 30/15 Amp/water hookups, dump station on site. Dirt lot. Several campers were here when we arrived, and a few others came in over the weekend, but it never filled up. A young couple came in on Sunday nite, and set up a tent by the Pine trees. Lubbock just half hour away. No charge for your stay, but a donation is accepted for the use of water and electric. Donation box over by the RV dump. Left a donation for our stay. Felt safe. Small town with a nice Catholic Church, St Anthony less than a mile. Great Mexican food at Savana's Restaurant up the road. Open weekends. Mikey D's in town, Bush's Chicken and other fast food..
Thank you Terry County for creating this great respite for weary Travelers. How nice to have power, water and an available Sewer Dump for just the cost of a donation. Plenty of room to set up and shade from the hot sun. Everybody is pretty much on their own (no attendant ) but for one or two nights it's perfect.
Great spot. Thanks to City of brownfield. Electric was great. Bearcat from Virginia high Bristol VA
