For a small state park, this is very nice. Our experience, staying midweek, it has been quiet. Our site is picking up good WiFi, and we have a path to the river. While it does not bother us, hence 5 stars, it may bother others that some sites, like ours (#8), back up very close to the Interstate. Trees are between.
This is the smallest SC State Park about 35 acres. Friendly staff. Leave a message and they will call you back to make reservations. Sites are sandy and shaded. Restroom and showers were clean. Small river that some were tubing. No commercial rental so getting in up stream or out down stream and back to camp can be challenging. WiFi was good.
We stopped on our way home just for one night. Great little park with a nice campground. Sites are a good size and the facilities were clean. Staff was friendly and this was the only park where the camp host came over to welcome us. We'll make a point to stay here again whenever we pass by. Nice river access.
