OK for short visit
By user-5899184... on 2017-10-23.
Not a lot to do, maybe worth 2 days to paddle in mangroves, see dredge, blockhouse,
stilt hut. Fine as a waypoint to Glades or East Coast.

Many trees cause somewhat difficulty of maneuvering to get larger RV's into this park. Satellite coverage also difficult based on canopy. Bathrooms need to be updated and remodeled.

Prett Good

Facilities are nice and clean. It is pretty close to the Everglades, which is nice, but the mosquitos are pretty bad due to all the water and warm weather.

Cramped, but nice neighbors
By user-5306827... on 2018-03-14.
Stayed 2017-12-25 to 2017-12-31
Facility has all the amenities you would need - water, power, showers, washer/dryer, but most of the spots are pretty small, so you need to love your next door neighbors. Location is good for west coast attractions, with Marco Island and Goodland very close by. Also not too far from Ft Meyers area/beaches. I would recommend, but choose your site wisely. Oh - and depending on time of year, biting insects can be an issue !! Be prepared !!

Nice Location and Excellent Staff

Stayed for 10 days over Christmas and New Year's Eve. Park is well maintained and several outdoor adventures nearby. No sewer at sites but water and electricity were available. It is a few miles south of Naples and Marco Island which have plenty of restaurants and shopping. Two hiking/biking trails available as well as a boat ramp. We drove down to Shark Valley which is in the Everglades. No sharks but tons of birds and alligators along the 15 mile paved loop. Well worth the trip.
