The park is kept up nicely. Even though I came after hours, I was greeted by the office staff. All were very friendly and helpful. Lots of full timers but I found it quiet and pleasant. They had a great spot for my big rig although you must be careful getting there. I didn't use the wi-fi so can't comment on that. Pool is closed for repairs. I would stay here again. Sure lots of full timers and we are just passing through. But that is true in many places. Showers and bathroom is very clean, attractive, with plenty of hot water. Sites are gravel, not dirt level with cable t.v. strong Verizon service and Wi-Fi is passible which is better than most. Shade on most. It not all transient sites too. We were close to the highway, so it was a little noisy; though there is a fence to cut some of that problem. For $38 full hookup, average for the area, we were very comfortable the night we stayed.
Very little appealing about this place. Needs a lot of work. Tight spots. You need to tell them what spot you need when you book but they won't tell you that.
The staff were very good and friendly. The park needed a lot of updates dealing with the pool, spa, roads,laundry room, and site connections. The full time people need to be held accountable for the appearance of there site. Or the park management needs to clean up after them. The Good Sams rating of 10 and RV Parky 5 stars rating needs to be re-evaluate to a 5 and a 1.
Hard for me to think that this is the best rated park in Corpus Christi, (10 on Good Sam?), but maybe this reflects the overall poor state of the other choices? This park is ok, but seems crowded with tight spaces. There appear to be many folks wintering here, so it must be good for them. For our 3 day stay it was a bit noisy at night, with very small spaces and little privacy or outdoor potential. Facilities were good, plus access to the island is close. Some security concerns for me as we were close to the main road, but some longer term spaces may be better, but still small in my opinion.
We actually live here and there is no better Rv park around. Period! But just as with anywhere in Corpus. Hide your valuables.
Rented a pull through for a week, paved with concrete pads, good utilities, large trees, easy egress, friendly staff, and neighbors. Yes we would stay again...
Nice drive through concrete pad site but a little tight for parking pickup. Staff friendly and helpful. Very minor road noise and a couple navy jets in morning. Stayed only short time waiting for snow to clear on way north. We would stay again.
Nice level sites, kinda close together, grass, picnic table. Dog area, clean reasonably priced laundry, big rec room, little Library, friendly office staff, close to Walmart, Padre Island. Ended staying an extra night. Easy in & out, some park models, quite a few permanent folks it looked like. Would return again if we are in the area.
Stayed our first time here and it was ok. Near to walmart, food-places and car-part shops. Site was clean, even aside main road it has been quiet. Got a grass spot last minute at memorial weekend, had an ant plant but some chems and they're gone.... Pool was clean, kids loved it.
