We enjoyed our stay and found the owner to be very helpful. Propane is sold by the gaĺlon, so you don't pay a lenalty to top off your tanks. Also do not confuse this park with the one that you can see from Highway 77.
Pros, cement drive, location. Cons, overpriced for amenities: one shower/bathroom, one washer/dryer, bad cable reception, junk all over in the back on so called trail. We've stayed at better parks for half as much.
Staying for 1 nite.. passing thru..no problem.. good site. Lots of room.clean and quiet.. would recommend..
This park was a pleasant surprise to find. Spacious sites with grass, park on gravel, each site has a picnic table, you can walk down a bank to the Colorado River. .7 mile walk to the center of the cute downtown. Didn't check out the rec room, etc. A few permanent modular homes in the park. Easy access to hwy 77 to tour the painted church's in the area, as well close to Warrington & Round Top antiques. Would definitely visit again. Passport America & Good Sam park.
Great place, very wide roads, big sites, friendly people, Good Sam and Passport. Will stay again.
