Reviews for Colorado River Thousand Trails

| Nice Park

Just a few miles off of I-10. We stayed here overnight on our way to our destination, but would have been happy to stay here another day or two. Beautiful, quiet peaceful grounds. A large herd of deer were feeding nearby in the morning. We didn't use the bathroom--or any other amenities--because we needed to get back on the road, but we could see several activity courts and a small pool. If you are looking for a really nice, restful spot, this is it! No wifi at the site, and not sure if there was in the clubhouse/office.

| Quiet nature

Our family loved this campground. Mature trees, plenty of room. Beautiful nature everywhere. Like staying at a state park with TT extras. Bathrooms were clean. They had mini golf, but we didn't get a chance to play since they don't keep the clubs/balls near the golf. We did use their pool table & ping pong- lots of fun. Pool isn't heated. Quite a drive to Houston. But we loveed it here. Mostly because of the wildlife and the Texas beauty. Would have given it 5 stars, but their clubhouse needs updating and the laundry machines were all broken.

We came here for a few days to relax and give Thousand Trails another chance. Marty & Barbara treated us great. I've never seen so many deer. We will definitely be back.

| One of the best

Friendly staff large sites level with lots of grass between. A well cared for park with clean showers and hot water. Version service is 4bars. There is a river and trails to walk too. One of the very best stays for us. We planned to be there 2 nights and immediately doubled our stay.

This Thousands Trails is very nice. Packed rock spots surrounded by grass and trees all around. The rv park is right along the Colorado river.

I see we we're here about a year ago. Everything we said earlier still holds including a completely refurbished bathroom. We love this place!

| Great place to relax

This park is very relaxing with lots of grass, big sites, deer and big trees. We stayed near the boat ramp and enjoyed the peace and quiet. My husband loves to fish but found the Colorado River too swift to actually catch anything. There are no real fishing spots, even though they have a fishing pond, that my husband could find. The nearest big town is about 30 miles so we did a one time trip for supplies. We would return again!
