Reviews for Columbia Falls RV Park

| Nice park but LOTS of rules

By user-5240864... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2015-07-15 to 2015-07-18

Nice and clean park; mostly level pull-thrus. Nice and quiet, except for road traffic. No trees and very exposed to wind. LOTS of rules about where your dog can walk, what you can wash in the washing machines and what you can't. There is no late night service so you have to be here by 7pm to check in. Over all a nice place, but a bit stressful with all the rules and regulations.

This is a very clean and professionally run park. I wish all the parks would live up to their standards.

If you are going to Glacier National Park, this is the best place to stay. 15mi from the park, 7mi to Whitefish and the mall in Kalispell, Costco, Walmart and many more great store's and dinning experience 's. Larry and Carla are the best owners and hosts.

| Classy joint about $55/night

Columbia Falls RV park Good location, about 3 blocks from Flathead river. Beautifully designed and built parking. Dog area! Open meadow for releasing dogs one block east - unsanctioned! Sites big enough, well serviced, including cable. No pool. Site security. No campfires. Quiet. WIFI may bog down in the evening when everyone tries to stream movies. Cell service 2 bars. Classy place. Well kept. Office restricted hours, not open until 9 AM. Keep park mistress informed of your arrival time... 9 PM is posted latest arrival but you'll get checkup calls around 6 PM if you're not registered by then. Upon arrival must haves: water pressure reducer, sewage line elbow with screw-in (must be air tight). Very helpful grounds crew, friendly. Classy clientele. You won't have the biggest rig in the park ✅ Ownership loves signs for all conceivable infractions -- and some you might not have thought of - dogs outside - there are rules for that - Amazing list of things visitors have done in the past, now proscribed.

| Tents

By user-5825473... on 2017-10-23.

This was a very clean RV park. Cleanest laundry room and bathroom that I have seen in a long time. Not kid friendly meaning nothing for kids to do, more of an adult park. Tent spaces are VERY small, did I mention they are small. 17 miles from Glacier National Park and Columbia falls has lots of stores (grocery and a couple fast food).

| Very tight sites.

Nice clean park with good voltage, water pressure, and big rig friendly. Internal roads and pads are fine crushed gravel. Drawback is that the sites are very close together, much more so than your average park.

| Beware DOG owners- Pricey $62/night!

Stayed one night passing through. Nicely landscaped with shrubs grass and gravel. Used a pull through which had the usual space between motorhomes with a picnic table. Had two breaker failures on a 50 amp with two air conditioners and the microwave. No reoccurrence when microwave was shut off. The cost was $62.17 including tax. There are two pages of rules on your arrival sheets and rule signs posted throughout the campground. I walked my two toy poodles at 8:30am and when returning to the RV one had a BM 4 feet from the RV door- I picked up ALL of the remains and was firmly corrected by a lady in a golf cart that I am not to let the dogs "go" on the grass and only allow them to "go" on the gravel as it is not good for the children. We are both so glad we did not book several days at Columbia Falls RV Park in MT. We are off on our western adventure looking forward to be more welcomed at the next campground. I recommend the owners consider making this park PETS NOT welcome. Judith Zickl judyzickl@gmail.com

Very nice and well kept campground. Sites are level, wide, packed gravel. Did not use the laundry, showers or bathroom, so can't say anything about them. We have a 40' coach and were escorted to our site. The turns were a little close, but very manageable. We unhooked the toad before moving to our site, which was a drive-through. Hookups were easily accessible, with good voltage and water pressure. We washed our coach and toad ($8) at our site with no problems. We don't have live pets (stuffed ones don't matter to them), so we didn't have to deal with that. Had no problems from management or "The Rules" (actually, the rules were no different from other parks). Close to Glacier NP. Grocery store not far away and easy to find.

| Super friendly "concierge" service

Very nice location, quiet, well groomed and maintained sites. Ours was perfectly level side-to-side, no wheel levelers needed. Upon check in, a host shows you to your site in their golf cart, and helps you get your rig positioned. How great is that?! Only complaint would be that (at our site at least) the sewer/water/electric hook ups were located more at the mid-point of the pad, so if you're in a smaller travel trailer like ours (25'), all the hook ups are at the front of the trailer. Our sewer hose wouldn't reach (it's only a 15' hose), but since we only stayed 2 days, we just pulled up and emptied when we checked out. Guess that's why they suggest you carry an additional extension hose in your RV. One downside: the pet area is all the way at the front entrance to the park, and if your site is near the back like ours was, it's a LONG walk to take your dog to do their business. A couple more pet areas scattered around would be awesome.

| In top 4 worse parks

This is a beautiful park with very clean bathrooms . That is the end. They have more rules and more signs than any park we have ever been in.they are not dog friendly. Dogs are only allowed to do their business in the dog park. Sign at the dog park says put poo bag in dumpster who s is other o. We travel a lot and this was one of our worse experience. After my wife put similar comments in another review they wrote an answer and said for us to never go back. Heheend of park. They make most people unhook and if you have a big rig do not drive on grass. It was raining and our area was watered every night. They mowed the lawn anyway and blew grass all over they freshly washed side of the coach. And yes we had to pay them to wash our own coach. Neighbor left early even after paying for many extra nights. The main problem was attitude of the owners.

New owner as of 2 weeks ago. Really nice man. Park is worth the rate that you pay. We will return.
