Beautiful setting by a nice lake. 50A, 30A, some with water and WiFi to boot, only $21!
Great park, lots of water, wildlife and wifi.
Never ask if I was a veteran or senior citizens. I went to check in a couple was in front of me I heard them ask if they were a veteran. So when it was my turn to check initial asked if I could get a veteran discount I was told no since I already paid which is b.s. very rude
Very nice campground with nice pull through sites. No wi-if or showers and very, extremely buggy. The lake is beautiful and it's a nice place to walk your pets.
The only negative in this park are the bathrooms. Vault toilets with horrible odor and millions of flies. The showers appear to be a few seconds of cold water. For the price, these things need to be addressed. It's quiet, friendly and beautiful.
We arrived in the late evening and found a tidy campground. There are sites with 30A for 24$ and 50A for 27$. As we looked around for the restrooms we only found dry toilets, no WC as we expected. The visitor center was closed. The office at the entrance is occupied friday and saturday evening without specific times. They are said to be available by phone from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Payment cash only into a letter box.
My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and enjoy the beautiful early spring views of the lake.
A few long pull thru with 50amp, other sites are mostly shorter back-in with 30amp. No sewer on any sites but good on-site dump station. A few water points spread around and if you are lucky you may be close enough to share with 2 to 4 other sites. Sites are very wide and everything is kept maintained. Any type of alcohol is prohibited, even on your site, so be aware. $24-$27 per night, except if you are a veteran, then it is under $14 per night. Best we have experienced anywhere in the country for a county park with only electric sites.
Very pretty lake and campground. Being as it was the middle of the week we picked a spot next to the water faucet and hooked up for the night. WiFi works best if you are at the 50 amp pull thru sites.
