The owner is really running a trailer park for people who live in rv's. He has maybe 3 sites he keeps open for nightly rentals but everyone else here are his "tenants" as he calls them and many have been here a long time it appears! The roads are dirt and slimy with mud and the spots are just grass with hookups. I came in at the end of Dec and the grass was at least 6 inches long and matted down with decaying leaves. The site was really soggy and there was a puddle about 2 inches deep and 8 inches wide at the base of the electrical post. In speaking with him, it's obvious that he stopped caring about the condition of this property long ago! As the other reviewer said, the road noise is deafening! Unless you are extremely desperate, don't even bother to stop here. There are many nice parks within a 20 mile radius and most of them closer to tourist activities.
While the front desk is nice and friendly the campsite is lacking. And the road noise is a bit much. Have to drive to do much of anything
We used passport America prices one night and his internet special price for three nights. Saved a lot compared to the other parks in the area. The bathrooms weren't always available but we're being renovated and what we saw looked good. Very convenient to Olympic National Park, several waterfalls, less than 10 miles to two towns with everything you need and the ferry to Victoria. I even had a problem with my cell phone and the owner sent me to his daughter at the local Verizon store and she went above and beyond to help me get a new phone.
