Cooper Lake State Park / Doctors Creek Unit

| Little known gem in the state park system.

This park is scenic and quiet and there is a lot of space between most camp sites. Parking pads are in great shape and very shady. A few sites have a view of the lake through the trees. Utilities are good and Verizon cell phone coverage is available as well as wifi at the office. There is a small store at the office with a few souvenirs. Amenities include a sand volleyball court, hiking trails, fishing pier, boat ramp, and kayak and SUP rentals. We really enjoyed the solitude and quiet, as well as the beautiful fall colors.
