1st time visit. Beautiful area (even though it rained). Clean bathrooms and showers. CATV is good. Wi-fi stinks- spotty at best. Not a good area for cell phone service either. Spaces are gravel, not level. Thumbs up.
We wanted to get away from the Central Valley heat, so we came to Felton where it was 30 degrees cooler! This RV Park is next to the Henry Cowell Redwood State Park. It was an easy short walk to the giant redwood grove and visitor center. Capitola and Santa Cruz is only 15-minutes away. The park has a lot of tent campers mixed in with the RVers. Sites are close together, but they are a good size. Lots of families visit in the summer with a good clean pool and playground area. The store is well stocked. Our site didn't have a sewer hook-up, but there is a dump station.
Really nice park.
Beautiful. Very nice
Nice people, lots of rules. Some bathrooms closed are closed in January which was very inconvenient. On a rainy day there’s it was totally boring.
We stayed with my brother in law and family. This was my first rv weekend and it went beautifully. Te hosts were so helpful getting us in sites next to each other and helping everyone over a busy holiday. We were in 47 48 and 48a. The sites were big at sat right on the creek. Beautiful redwoods all through the park. Office had firewood and Tim the maintenance guy will deliver right to your firepit.
This is a beautiful park. Small and quiet. The bathrooms leave a lot to be desired. Nice to be able to walk right into state park. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful.
I was told about this place by a friend and they were right. The campground was clean and beautiful. The hosts were just about the nicest people ever. I’ll definitely be back
Unbelievable. The owners have tons of rules and even came up to our site to request an extra $3/night for my child. Too bad the owners are so difficult it s a beautiful area. There are two other parks just up the road for our next stay
Great woodsy campground. They were the only park in the area that let us stay with our Pitbull (Most dosile dog on planet earth). Super friendly and helpful staff, well maintained and close to lots of trails and mere feet away from redwoods
I can not believe a campground stays in business with these owners. They wife is petty and rude. She will take on a $1.00 charge for everything she can think of and they walk around demanding the extra dollar or you have to leave with no refund. Horrendous.
I really should have read the reviews. The camp hosts are fine but the owners are horrible. They wander the campground enforcing even the tiniest of rule infractions. Making their customers feel weird about relaxing on their vacation. They count people at your site and charge extra for a friend coming to visit for an hour. They have no customer service skills. The only reason this place is open is because the forest is beautiful. Go to the other campgrounds just up the road.
I came here a year ago and it was a very pleasant stay. Great hosts and a lovely area. I wasn t a fan of the massive number of full time spots at this campground but it was still very nice. So I came back this year. Well the hosts are different and the kindness and family love is gone. Now it s about give me money and be quiet. The entire atmosphere as changed. I actually left early because I didn t want to be in this angry place any longer.
