Reviews for Cottonwoods RV Park

By user-6343694... on 2017-10-23.

Don't know why some are saying not enough room. We had plenty of room for our 32' fifth wheel an even left it hooked to truck since we only stored overnight. We have slides on both sides of RV and no space problems roads were good

Absolutely no room to spare when pulling in with a bigger rig. The roads and spots are very narrow, if anyone is sticking out it is nearly impossible to park. Definitely need spotters to watch everything when pulling in no matter how good you are. We have years of experience hauling and backing big rigs and found this place to be a challenge. Bathrooms were clean but smelled, especially the mens room which smelled like a sewer. This was the most expensive place we stayed on our trip and we stayed at much nicer places for less. We will definitely not be back or recommend it to fellow campers or friends.

Stopped there intending to spend the night, had stayed there years ago. The place was very full with people attending a nearby function. Only spots available, back ins, which in my opinion were greatly overpriced, well above prices posted on this site plus they add an up charge if you intend to pay using a credit card. Found a better overnight place, FHU, for $25.00 in Booneville, 20 miles further west.

| Clean RV park

By user-5118485... on 2017-10-23.

Park is very clean and attendants are all very pleasant and helpful. Some sites are a bit tight. We had no problem with our 37 foot with tow vehicle. Did not have to disconnect our vehicle.

| Good and bad

By user-5852854... on 2017-10-23.

The good and the bad. The good points about this place are the grounds are very well kept, grass cut , trash cans emptied regularly, etc. etc. The staff has been very friendly and helpful. The store was clean and well stocked like most rv parks. Did not use the laundry or restrooms, so I can't comment on them. The electricity & water worked fine with no problems. They do offer free Wi-Fi buuutttt. The bad . Wi-Fi is signal is very strong, but also very very slow. Less than 1mbps. My 4G from Verizon was 3 to 10 times faster . Some of the slots might be a little bigger than mine , but I couldn't tell by driving past them . I was given a pull through slot and I have a 30 ft travel trailer & a long bed pickup and I just barely fit. The front of my truck is right at the edge of the road and my trailer is right at the edge of the road to the rear. One man actually hit another man's truck with the tail swing of his fifth wheel trailer as he was attempting to pull into another slot. The truck that got hit was parked and well off of the road. This park has some very tight turns for larger rigs if you are not careful. All in all it is a decent place to stay if only for a short while, but I would not really pick this place as a destination park. You only have a few feet in between you and your neighbor. My slide is not a very deep one yet it came within a foot or so of hitting my neighbors awning. I would stay here again but only for an overnight pass through.

| Nice Place and Owners!

By user-5209101... on 2017-10-23.

Stopped for one night--a few miles off the interstate but easy to find. Quiet!! Arrived after hours but owner was still there and helped us into spot. Have a 37ft coach--was a little tight as previous reviews said but managed it fine with a little help. Pet friendly--lots of space for walks!!Would recommend and go ahead.

My wife & I stayed here overnight recently. Not sure why their are such bad reviews on this park. We have a 39' Tiffin with a full-size toad behind it & had absolutely no problem getting around & thru this park & into/out of our site. Friendly staff & what we thought was a reasonable rate. Quiet park during our visit. Only downside was that the parks WiFi was out & there is no cable. We were however able to pick up several network HD stations with our antenna. Also can't comment on the mens/women's facilities since we didn't use them. Would absolutely return to this park in the future!

| Stayed for Two nights

By user-5851887... on 2017-10-23.

Stayed here two nights for grandsons baseball tournament. Very clean campground. Pool wasn't open yet. Nice playground for younger kids. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rain disrupted the tournament schedule so the boys last game was postponed a few hours. We were allowed to stay on site until game was over. We really appreciated this courtesy. We did find the sites very close and on the small side. Our slides were almost over our picnic table and I had to go around the table on the next site to hook up our water and sewer hoses. We had no trouble getting our 35' coach on site, but the roads are narrow. What did bother me, and it's happened at other parks too, is the extra charge for our two 13 year old grandsons. Seems like a family unit of four should be included for the base price. We would most likely return here if the boys have another tournament here since the ball filed was only 5 minutes away.

Stayed here about 4 years ago. Had a good stay. We do not use the showers or pool. But everyone seems to be enjoy them self. This stay we are overnight heading on I-70 for home in CA. Stay is as good as previously. Sites are narrow but adequate for our 40 ft motor home. 50 amp works. Will stay here again if in this area.

We stayed two nights. The check in was smooth and friendly. We were greeted at our site by a gentleman who guided us in. The site has crushed stone and was fairly level. We were in a pull-thru site that was actually two sites back-to-back, but the second site was not used. As a matter of fact, all these types of sites didn’t have the second RV there. I would guess that they get used when it’s their peak time. We had grass, and a cement pad with a picnic table and fire pit. The Wi-Fi was good, just slowed down some in the evenings. But we connected just fine, no password. For us using T-Mobile we only had 1 bar and no data. But just a mile or so towards the highway, we have a full signal and 4G data. They had a nice laundry area, Rec Room and bathroom/showers. The pool area also looked very nice. There was some highway noise, but not too bad. I would stay again.

Good 50 amp level p/t sites. They were friendly & took you to your site. Had cement pad w/ fire pit & picnic table. Clean & quiet would stay again.

| Real nice place

Was in town for work all week, and brought the wife and kids. Nice clean park with a small pool and playground. The kids enjoyed it. Will stay again if in town again. The only problem was the fact that their WiFi was down. Major problem as my wife works from home and needs wifi to do her job. Not sure how long it will be down for, but it was down for our entire stay

| Very clean but...

By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.

We have stayed at this park many times over many years. It s very clean but also dated. The sites have inconveniently locates hookups, we couldn t park in the first row any more, and the laundry is $2 to wash & $2 to dry a load.At $47 a night I d expect resort amenities not just a small pool & exercise equipment.

Office was closed (Easter), not a problem, made reservations online. Clean. Easy to get around. I thought it was nice!
