Stayed one night. Management great. Price fair. Did not use wifi or cable. Small laundry but did the job. Appear to be lots of permanent residents. Few drivers obeyed the 5 mile per hour speed limit. Lots of kids were running around the roads and through sites after dark. Showers need a spruce up. Would stay again.
Came in from a long day of traveling just to stay overnight and continue on the next morning. This was a good place. Quiet, in the middle of farm land, but extremely close to the interstate and food places. The price was cheap and the whole area was very clean. I would recommend this to anyone for over night or even for a long stay.
stayed for a month...reasonable rates...rude park staff...noisey traffic...neighbors mooching cigarettes, spare change!? Would not recommend..there is better parks close! Avoid!?
Visited Country Boy RV Park for one night. Staff did credit card. Friendly check-in with an easy to find location for our 35 ft RV towing a car. It also had a very nice large playground area for children. Hooked up and tried the internet. Service was very slow and sketchy not workable in the evening but it was better about 6:30 a.m. When asking the manager about the slow service, she stated they just had it upgraded but that when so many people are on it, it is slow. An offer to come down and sit in the office was mentioned. She also said she would refund our money if we wanted to leave and that internet and cable are only a "courtesy" not part of the cost of rental. As with many parks, they overstated their internet capabilities. We did not use the cable service that night so cannot comment on that aspect of service.
Great park! Interested and professional owners/managers. Shaded and nicely maintained. A fair value but they did not take a credit card. We have a 35 ft motorhome towing a car and there are pull through units that worked for us. It is not a large park, however, so in the season reservations might be good. Internet service was excellent when we visited in Feb 2015. Would recommend this site.
Roads were great, pull thrus are gravel and fairly level. Wifi is available, we did not use it or bath house. Several long timers here, but great for a one night, mgt was very nice, credit card, 35.00, no discounts at all. We were in a 38' motor home with a tow. Electric and water were fine. Easy access to I20.
Spent about a week here. Ok park, level spots. Nothing special. No frills, old facilities.
