Reviews for Country Hearth Inn & RV Park

This "park" is a parking lot behind the Motel 6. It does have concrete pads, but the electric box is not designed for RV hookup, so it is hard to get the plug to stay in. Sites are so close together it is hard to walk between coaches when the slides are out. I was hooked up to the WIFI for only a few minutes before I was dropped. The Good Sam rate was $35 a night. We have traveled route 44 to St. Louis several times to see family, and would NEVER stay here again.

Stayed at this park for 4 days while working in the Rolla, MO area. First of all, don't be fooled by the name of this place and their rates. It is NOT Country Hearth, it is Magnuson even though the old signs are still up. Also, the nightly Good Sam rate is almost $38.00 per night even in January. We were told the rate is between $40-$50 nightly when they are busy. Okay, so there is only one good thing about staying here. Each RV site is concrete with newer hookups. So here is why not to stay at this place: 1) The sites are so narrow and close together that with the slides out there's only abou a foot or two between you and your neighbor. 2) Be careful leaving your rig or you will either trip over your neighbor's sewer line or run into the hookup box 3) Don't expect to do much online with the wifi here, you will unexpectedly be booted off. Your best bet is to log on to either Days Inn or the Loves truck stop on the other side of I-44. We approched these people about it and they told us it does that during freezing temps. Lol, it's been in the 40s and 50s all week. If you have a big rig do not stay here. There's only room for my 40ft 5th wheel in these spots and had to park the truck somewhere else. We would never stay here again.....EVER! Happy camping & good luck. Brian & Bonnie Olson

We just stopped here for the night. Fill up the water tanks and drain waste tanks and get laundry done. They have a few pull in sites and they are nice concrete pads. We are in a 40ft DP with 20 ft trailer and didn't have to unhook but boy the width is very tight. Got the slides out but barely. Nice for a night.
