| Nice Spot to Stop

By user-6261094... on 2017-10-23.

Good location to stop traveling I80. About 2 miles off the highway and therefore quiet. $32.60 w/Good Sam. Cable @ each site works well with many channels. Nice pool for a dip. Would stop again :-)

| Nice and quiet

Sitting about a mile off I80 provides extremely low highway traffic noise. The park is well maintained with a nice dog area, childrens play area and pool. The sites are level and most are long pull thrus easily handling big rigs with a tow vehicle. Plenty of shade trees yet open enough for satellite reception. Friendly staff with office in the front of a house. Don't be afraid to pull all the way forward to the check in here sign they will lead you by golf cart to your site. The only negative we encountered was the poor Wi-Fi reception. We were only two spaces from the office and even after requesting a system reset, never got over 2 out of 5 bars. All in all, it is worth stopping here for overnight or a week.

| OK in a pinch

By user-5867702... on 2017-10-23.

It is a park that is trying but it misses the mark. The grounds are clean with some grass but the roads are pea size gravel that tracks every where. The bathrooms are clean but are leaning towards the sparse side. Concrete with curtains but no hooks or place for your things except an old lawn chair. Sites facilities work as expected and the tv is in standard def. Site are dusty and ours had a dead tree hanging over it with another next to it dripping sap all over the truck and camper. Someone owes me a detail!!! Can only recommend for an overnight but only if no other site is close by. Paid $34

Nicely laid out park, level gravel sites, mostly all drive thru's. Good power, great hospitality. When you exit I-80 and head south, DO NOT take the first left turn, that is a service road. Take a left at the 2nd stop light onto County Road East 80. I would like to return and stay longer at this campground, as we found the drive north through the sand hills a most interesting geological phenomena, with very few towns and villages. We camped at Country View Campground in a Fifth Wheel. Tour the sand hills area north of Ogallala. Paid $34 for full hookup.

Rolling corn fields indeed! Nice stop over for us. Updated bath house, enough trees to feel comfortable, friendly owners, pea gravel sites and drives, all as level as can be. Didn't use the pool. Quiet spot, loved the birds singing all around. Good Sam discount. John & Paula, Colorado

| Great overnight clean campground

By user-5790955... on 2017-10-23.

We've been driving across country and needed a site for the night. We were able to get a nice pull through site about 60 feet long. The couple who work here are very nice. We were shown to our site and they checked back to see if everything worked okay. We used the laundry and it was squeaky clean. We would defintly stay here again of we are in the area.

It is the perfect campground after a good week of doing wild camping with no running water and toilets. Internet works fine even with some tornedo like winds. The hosting couple is fantastic and super helpful. The shower was a delight and our clothes are currently enjoying a wash!

We spent one night here and it was a very clean campground. The pool was open so the grands were very happy! Friendly staff, clean facilities, and pretty quiet did hear an occasional vehicle drive by on the highway but we slept with windows open so if we had them closed we wouldn t have heard anything.

| Very nice small park

By user-5328266... on 2019-08-09.

This is a nice little park. Long pull thrus. Very easy to get in and out. Mature trees and shade. Far enough from I-80 to negate noise issues. Very helpful staff that takes you to your site. Campers are fairly close but manageable. Cable TV is a little strange. You have to use one of their remotes and set your TV to Ch 3 but it works. Walmart with diesel, and good restaurants close by. Be sure to ride over to North Platte, NE and tour Union Pacific Railroad s Visitor Center in the Golden Spike Tower at their Bailey Yard. Train buffs will love this. Great place for a night or two.
