A spot to park, that's about it. Small restroom/shower.

Pulled in and office was closed. Envelope there which had code with admonition that "this is not your password" tried and could not figure out how to even hook up to wifi Left and went east to new place at chapman about ten miles east called Chapman Creek. Two dollars less and everything is new and clean. The host was actually here, was hospitable and took us to our spot. Recommend you go there instead. Oh, the wifi actually works too

Clean, quiet, well run campground/RV Park. No hesitation about coming back or recommending this place. Kudos to the management.

Level pull through, clean and quiet park. Thought the bathrooms we're fine, very clean and private shower stalls (had doors and plenty of room to change). Some train horns. 50 amp service worked on a day when it was 100 degrees! Manager not always on site, but very friendly and accomadating.

Very nice over night stop when traveling. If I had more time I would pick this CG for a few night rest and stay a while.

Park is quiet and on edge of town. Green grass, spaces are nice. Guy that runs it is awesome. Spent two days in Abilene and will come back.

Spent Memorial weekend in Abilene. The campground is clean, easy to get into and out of and most of the sites are LONG and level. Adequate spacing between them so you don't feel claustrophobic. About evenly split between short and long term guests. Hookups water, sewer and electric in top shape. Didn't use the bath house so can't comment on it. Wifi is free and worked great for us. Owner is friendly and easy to work with although we never met face-to-face. Did our business over the phone and through the night drop. VERY convenient to the museums (Eisenhower, Greyhound, Heritage and Old Abilene). We walked up to the museums twice (I do recommend taking the road at the back of the park vs. walking along the highway even though there is a sidewalk most of the way). Makes a great base for a quiet, relaxing weekend of taking in Abiliene's abundant history.
