I agree with the 8/15/2017 reviewer. Some additional points: as of this date, although showers are listed as an amenity, there are none in the women's restroom, and one does not appear to be planned(!) The park is just off of Hwy 87 and is next to the railroad in case you are sensitive to noise. The night we stayed we were the only RV in the park, although a dry camper showed up sometime during the night. The park has no windbreaks, so expect some healthy breezes. Likewise, there is no shade, although the orientation of the pads maximizes afternoon shade for those with passenger-side entrances. There is a multi-stall shed for keeping horses. I subtracted one star for the lack of a women's shower. Otherwise, this would be a four-star review based on value for money ($35). No AAA, Good Sam or other discounts at the moment. The park is fairly new, so hopefully that will change.
Very nice park with level long pull thrus. Did not check shower facilities. Owner was there when we arrived and was very nice. Easy to get to right next to highway thus traffic noise, and a train just across the highway. So if you are a light sleeper it is hard to get a good night's sleep. Hookups were all new. Good for an overnight....
Everything works, Good wifi. No shower, noise from road and train, no shade.
Park is basic, but the sites are very level, full hookups and good wifi, and you can come in late at night and pay in the morning. Would recommend for travelers just passing through who need some rest.
Update to my previous review. The tankless water heater in the men's shower was highly unreliable. Ended up taking a cold shower. There are no power outlets by the sinks...just one outlet near the wet shower floor. Very unsafe. Absentee park owner, so no immediate recourse for any of these issues. Highly unsafe, thus the deduction of another star.
This is a nice little park with level pull thru sites. Great WiFi and price for an overnight stay. I dealt with the owner via phone for reservations (which aren’t really necessary) and payment. She was very nice. This appears to be a new park and they are working to make it better. The only negative is there is no trash receptacles.
Nice park for overnight. No shade; trees have been planted, but are too small for shade. Would stay there again. 10% veterans discount.
We stayed here for one night that I can only describe as creepy. The small campground was full but we were the only people there. It s a self service place so no staff on site. Not a secure feeling. Lots of road noise too. On the positive side the park is neat and clean, and we had a beautiful view of the prairie.
Perfect for an overnight. Full hookups were excellent.
