This was our first time camping at this campground. I wasn't given an option on picking a site when I made the reservation over the phone. We were assigned to site 34. We arrived Friday night just before dark as many people were arriving. The site is a pull thru and literally has no space for anything else. There is a brick paver patio just outside of the driveway which was nice since everything else around us is red clay mud. Our neighbor in front of us is so close to us we feel that we can't use the fire ring for a camp fire or we may damage his slide out. We took a walk on Saturday around the campground and to the playground for our kids. The playground is old and the ground has large red clay mud holes at the entrance and exits of each ladder and slide. The camp store requires a $20 minimum for debit charges....we only needed mayonnaise and who carries cash?....after continuing our walk we quickly realized that there are many open sites that have much more room (but are still smaller) than the one we were assigned. If we had booked more than the 1 night we had remaining, we would have repacked our travel trailer and moved. Our site was that bad. The only plus to this campground is the full hookup. Needless to say we weren't impressed enough to return.

Stay for a while

I stayed at this campground for about 6 months while I was working in the Richmond area. I found the campground to be very clean and attractive, with the staff helpful and friendly. I found that they have many repeat customers, including (unknown to me) one of my wife's cousins. I would recommend this campground without hesitation.

Pros: sites are all fairly level, love the patio/supersites, staff friendly and helpful
Cons: for the price should have trash pick up and free, dependable wifi

Stayed 2015-08-17 to 2015-08-25
This is a great campground. Just about all the sites have a view of a pond. The utilities were ok,but need servicing where we were. There is a nice "Cozy Cafe" adjacent to the pool area. The area is beautiful! About the pool.. It's huge and deliciously comfortable. Big problem..no chairs at all. Just concrete. You have to tote your chair if you want one. They said "they keep getting broken". That's the cost of business ,guys! Get to Walmart and buck up! All your campers mentioned it!
Better bring cash. You "can't charge under $20.". Very cool,sturdy children's play equipment. Good RV store. You can only get Wifi in the trading post/store,but 3G worked great.We were in a VIP site #118 for a week. With the Good Sam's discount, it was totally worth it! It would be nice for these sites to have garbage pick up,as there is one dumpster. We will try to stay a month next time!

Excellent campground

Excellent campground. Although there is no WiFi or cable the place is a excellent choice for a nice quiet stop. Sites are well maintained and campground clean. Definitely will stop here again when in the area. Very pleasant owners that went way out of their way to accommodate me.

Excellent Park

This is our second time here at this Park.
We stayed here last Sep-Nov, visiting our Daughter. Overall the park is well run by the owners, however I feel a little over priced for what they offer. No Cable or Internet service available. The spaces are pretty much all very level with the exception of a few. I would recommend the Park it's they only one in the area.
