Reviews for Crazy Horse RV Park

| Packed Tight, Convenient

This park is packed very tight with minimum space between rigs. Facilities are clean; staff are friendly and helpful. We stayed 2 nights in motorhome because it was convenient for our planned activities; 10 min from Pima Air & Space museum. Wifi is usable. We would stay again but only for 1 or 2 nites.

Old park. Very poor wifi. Hot showers were OK.

| Friendly, Easy In/Out from I-10

This park is older but the owner is updating the facilities. A new Rec Room will be open soon and is very modern and inviting. The park hosts donuts/coffee on Wednesdays and most other mornings there is a low cost breakfast served. Also, BINGO and the low-cost dinners (Taco Tuesday and Potlucks) are a great way to connect with people. We enjoyed the 2 x weekly YOGA and found the nearby LOOP to be great exercise too. Laundry facilities are acceptable, showers/bathrooms are kept clean. The hosts are all helpful and welcoming. No one is ever grouchy or too busy to answer a question. We liked receiving our mail each day. A nice convenience. Only drawback for us was that there are only two paved roads and the rest was gravel. Resulted in a lot of dust. We would stay again and hope to see the smiling faces of the friendly HOSTS and CW. Monthly rates are competitive. Less than $400/month!

| Quiet and peaceful but problematic

This is a quiet park with nice landscaped sites but no shade unless paying considerably more to be under solar panels which only provides full shade to smaller RVs. The park is near I-10 and truck stops but noise from them cannot be heard. We have found the staff to be kind and relatively helpful but feel they are too assuming and judgemental of ones character based on looks, hobbies or confidence in their intellect. Favortism does exist. The park also caters to snowbirders by holding spots for their return rather than allowing full-timers to have a site better suited for their needs. They, like many parks seem to have no desire in being welcoming nor accommodating to those who aren't yet retired nor using an RV for vacationing pleasures only. The staff has been found to say one thing at sign up time and then later changing their mind. Regardless how quiet this place is or convenient it has been for us in other needs, feeling welcome and appreciated goes further and with its absence we can no longer endorse this park amongst being some of the best.
