The gentleman that checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The park was very pretty and extremely quiet, other than the trains which we actually enjoyed. We didn t hear the train horns at night, however they did start back up pretty early, but wasn t a problem for us since we like to get up early anyway. I m guessing there is at least one farm nearby based on a bit of a smell in the evening and the number of flies, which brought back good memories for my dad who grew up on a farm. :)

If it wasn't for the high pitched hum from the coop and the railroad tracks being so close we would have given this park an 8 or 9. The park is very clean and pleasant to look at. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with the electric not having a ground and he came over right away to help. We plugged in to the site next to us for that day. The next morning he was out there to fix the problem. The site was gravel and grass and level. The water was good, Verizon cell signal was good and the wifi was okay. There is a grain coop next door to the park and, when in operation, it puts out a high pitched hum. Fairly annoying. There are train tracks near and it is rather active. There are trains at night, but not as many as during the day. The trains do blow their horns whether it's day or night. We would stay there again but only for a couple of days.
